I know I know, we must see it to believe it, but I still feel WWE has something nice in stored for Barrett. I think they just don't know what the hell to do with Ziggles, which is unfortunate, because I think Ziggles deserves a reign, but would rather Wade win it and have a GREAT reign.

Think WWE will hot potato the belt, it's been a while since they did that, not that it's a good thing thou...

It's just boring seeing the same 3 guys in Orton/ADR/Sheamus and another heel intertwined in each other for feuds and matches at ppv's constantly. It feels like if I turned SD on 5 months ago and turned it on next week, there'd be no difference. Hopefully Ziggler cashes it in, but I doubt he's going to old onto it for very long. Also, I'm not too sure about what they can do with Barrett, he gets no crowd reactions, maybe they'll force a WHC reign on him to generate some heat or something.

If they're so high on Barrett then why did they bury him for 2 years? and why is he not competing for the world title right now instead of fucking Big Show?

So high on him that he appeared on SUPERSTARS and his only appearance on RAW was a lame backstage skit with AJ...

Well crap, the thread title got my hopes up. I thought Smackdown was changing its brand. Also, putting Barrett at the top will be another nail in WWE's coffin. He's as boring as it gets.

They shouldn't of had Barrett come back and squash Jobbers. In my opinion he should of attacked sheamus as his grand return claiming that his opportunity in MitB was robbed through injury so he decided to go after the title the hard way. They then could of used the whole Brit/Irish rivalry even some pops at sheamus for supporting liverpool and how it just goes to show how the Irish are always looking up to the Brits. They both are big guys, Wade can do the talking and they are both Brawlers which in a cell could of been pretty good I think.

Oh Well, always TEW/WWE13 to play this out.

I want to believe this (the Barrett part) but I dunno. I've read countless reports over the years stating they are high on Barrett and plan to make him a top heel, so far I've yet to see them deliver. Hopefully this is true anyway, I'm not getting my hopes up though.

Exactly this, hence my skepticism. Barrett vs. Sheamus would be a great feud if Sheamus would actually let his serious side out for once, but no, we just NEED to see Big Show lose yet another World Title feud.

They weren't ready to have Sheamus drop the title anyway. Would people have actually been happier if Wade had returned from injury and gone right into a losing feud against Sheamus?
