Sheamus is an idiot. All he talks about is the luck of the Irish and his uncle. He brushes off all opponents and the man hardly ever loses. At least Cena will lose b/c of interference or shenanigans, but Sheamus just doesn't lose period. His mic work is ok, but it's the same as it's been since his face turn last year. I'm not excited about a Sheamus/Show feud.
Hopefully Orton returns as a heel. Then again, WWE is probably keeping him face b/c they're probably not yet 100% convinced that Sheamus can "carry" Smackdown.
The best part of Sheamus being so dominant and constantly winning is coming on here and watching his haters WHINE all the time. That is entertaining. I for one like it that the WWE finally has a dominant champion. Makes the belt legit again.

Cena will lose because he's firmly entrenched as the absolute, absolute top guy in the company and nothing is going to knock him down. Sheamus is still being built into the top, dominant, babyface role, which is why he never loses. Sheamus will be doing more frequent jobs in 2 to 3 years, believe me.
Also, Sheamus did a clean job for Punk on the new Main Event show. I know it's not exactly Raw or SmackDown but it did happen.

There is a lot of good to be said about the guy, I dunno it's just tough to put my finger on it but I guess if anything else, you could say his cringe worthy promo's are a real culprit here - obviously the guy needs practice on the stick, but don't have him do it during RAW lol.
Sheamus seems best used when he doesn't say much but just goes in there and uses cool looking slams. I'm not sure why the WWE needs to give him some sort of rebellious, child-like gimmick where he Brogue kicks a TV camera, amongst other stuff. This "free the brogue" kick stuff is kind of stupid because it really doesn't have any sort of effect on the angle it was in, they end up allowing him to use it in the match anyways. I'm actually a fan of the guy, I just think they are using him the wrong way. Oh yeah, Don Tony said it best when he mentioned it's weird that Sheamus is talking about how he was bullied in grade school when he's in his 30's lol.

Sheamus is good on the mic but the babyface material he is given for his promos is fucking awful. The material they give their other top faces is questionable (some good, some terrible) but with Sheamus it's just always bad.

That's the problem with fans today. You shouldn't BE lowering your standards, the wrestlers should have to work until they reach your standards. Too many people are willing to just gobble up what WWE throws in their faces.
10 years ago, mic work was crucial. We used to have Austin, Rock, Foley, Triple H, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, Undertaker, that's what a top star was. Now it's Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton and Ryback, among others. The only top, top act who can perform at the level of a world champion is CM Punk, and John Cena IF he ever decides to take anything seriously, the rest are not deserving of their positions. They aren't good enough, and that absolutely SHOULD bother you.
