No you can't. Now if you could show a specific dip every year during high school football season then I could see your point. But I highly doubt that.

It's just a terrible product right now. That's what you blame. Not high school football.

Well, yeah it seems they do all the important stuff on RAW now and anything that may have happened on SMACKDOWN that was worth seeing is recapped on RAW. The addition of Main Event won't help SMACKDOWN, as it seems they are treating it as a bigger deal than SMACKDOWN (at least for now)...

Wasn't the "dip" roughly two hundred thousand people from the previous week? That's not exactly massive. That sort of fluctuation happens all the time.

You can blame a steady decline on the product.

What if viewership numbers were down across the board on Friday (a quick glance makes me lean toward concluding that was the case)? Fewer people watched the other top shows during the same time frame on Friday night because of the decline in quality of Smackdown? Good luck proving THAT one.

Hopefully this is a wakeup call to the WWE to make Smackdown it's own show again. The way it is now it's a lot of RAW recaps, time for the WWE to cut that out.
