Ok what happened with that? Wade cut a promo talking about being open for business on his return, then again on raw a week later saying he was gonna sample it the coming Friday. Friday rolled around and no sign of Barrett anywhere or any mention of him being open for business. Now here we are weeks later and all he's doing is squashing jobber after jobber, even though he said matches like that don't interest him in the slightest. Basically everything Barrett talked about on his return meant jack shit and was forgotten about.
Barrett being a hired mercenary sorta seemed promising and would have gave him something to do until getting in the main event picture. But i guess they thought him squashing jobbers for 2 or 3 months would be more interesting.

His return has been completely and utterly botched.
From his return being on Smackdown!, then as you said, facing jobbers despite stating that he won't do that, him apparently choosing the WHC title picture instead of the WWE title one...
His music still not changing, him not being a "Fight Club" tweener, him having that horrible finisher...

He's been back for less than a month, give him a chance. They clearly don't have a storyline for him right now so he's squashing jobbers, underwhelming? yes, end of the world? no.
people hating the guy for no reason. they are buidling him up slowly. Jeez everyone expecting the WWE to rush him right off the bat? GMAFB
I wouldn't have expect anything if they didn't have him cut a promo saying he's open for business. You know when he said that people actually expected him to be doing something, like getting hired to beat guys up for people. But out of the blue it was just dropped and they're acting like it was never said. People expected it to be followed up on. So don't blame me just because i expected them to actually follow up on something Barrett said.

the way I took it is "I am back promo." But I see your point about 'I have no use for jobbers' phrase than he stuck with jobbers anyways.
At this point they just buidling the guy up through squash matches like they did with Ryback, til they insert him in a major feud. After HIAC is when they will start their major storylines with Barrett.
To me this is better than watching him being fed to Ryback.
