He's been completely irrelevant since his return. Don't understand the booking. Sheamus had an opening for a feud. Not sure why they chose the Big Show over Barrett.

Probably because they aren't ready for Sheamus to drop the strap yet and Big Show can put Sheamus over in a Hell in a Cell-bound feud, while Barrett really can't.

Another inexplicably booked individual is Dolph Ziggler, who it would seem is in front of Barrett in the line but he almost always loses any big match on pay-per-view.

Ziggler might cash in on Ziggler after a Big Show beatdown/WMD/whatever, though.

It's obvious they had no grand plan for Barrett after all, or, if they did, Vince got cold feet on it and decided to not go with it. Would hardly be the first time.

I know he's a great seller, but to cash in MITB on himself after being knocked out by BigShow would be the greatest sell of all time. lol

I would love Barret to win the Rumble and face Sheamus for the WHC.. I really want to see this feud happen, personally I think this would be a great feud, to put over both men. Sheamus can make a great face, while Barret has the heel personality..

As usual, this is yet another case where the IWC puts the blame where it doesn't belong. You get a couple smart people who understand they're fucking with him but most people seem to be under the ridiculous impression that he's to blame for all this, when he's doing the absolute best that he could possibly do with the bare bones minimum that Vince gives him.

Blame booking all you want, young Gord, but Barrett was on the end of the push of a lifetime which culminated in him being found out as an inept glorified midcarder who got lucky on one big angle and didn't have the personality or ability to sustain it, thus being 'fed' to Cena and the angle dissolving.
