His matches have been very good recently, and his match with barrett has been his best in awhile also.

He actually made barret's finisher look nasty.

He's always been pretty good. I don't care for some of his moves (Broski Boot is trash, Ziggler does the fameasser 10 times better) but whatever.

yeah, completely agree. I pointed it out during the last PPV, his match with Cesaro (I even got an agreeing rep for it!). He is throwing in actually wrestling technique, not just bumps and strikes.

He's always been really solid in the ring it's just that he never really had the chance to prove it on the big stage. His match with Cesaro at NoC was one of the best matches of the night, IMO.

He's got great skills in-ring and sells amazingly. I like his gimmick but I acknowledge it's a divisive one and one that wouldn't suit a World Champion. I'd still love to see him as a midcard champion as it could be an amazing reign.

Zack Ryder could and should be a permanent midcard attraction who occasionally wins a belt or pushes a heel champion to the wire and forces them to cheat to retain and perform as a popular true underdog who can garner a reaction from the crowd. Why people are so averse to somebody who got themselves over being on TV at all to actually make crowds do something is completely beyond me, he should be nowhere near a world title, ever, unless they want a Santinoesque match like EC this year but he should easily be a semi-regular midcarder.
