I think over-the-top mysterious gimmicks have ran its course.

Re: Bring back Mordecai?
I would say yes, but only if it was not Kevin Fertig playing him.

Thorn is 35 now, he can come back and do good for 6/7 years maybe.
Ambrose playing Mordecai would be great rather than a typical modern gimmick also another person i can think of is Matt Morgan but Kevin's voice was awesome.

Yeah they have. We live in different times. I stopped watching wrestling in 2004 when Mordecai became a thing. (Not because of him, but I just generally lost interest sometime in 2004) Taker's character will always be accepted because of all the work he has done over the years, but for someone with the same kind of mysterious gimmick to just sprout up these days...good luck. Now if Mordecai had debuted around the time that the Ministry was happening, then it could possibly work because he's practically a mirror image of Undertaker in the ministry. Those two would have been interesting rivals. I'm a mark for the Undertaker so...I already know who I'd root for.

Re: Bring back Mordecai?
Mordecai was great for a few weeks then suddenly they had him lose to a roll up from Rey Mysterio which is pretty pathetic if they were going to try to build him as a top supernatural guy.
The Ascension is basically gonna be the new supernatural boys in the WWE. It seems like they are making them the wwe version of Age of the fall with a combination of the brood and I would like to see them feud with Bryan and Kane

I like these guys, but they need a female member to accompany them, someone like Katie Lea-Winter or Paige.

Re: Bring back Mordecai?
Wasn't Fertig given the option to resign but declined? It's unfortunate, at least from my point of view... those over-the-top dark characters were always the most fun.

Re: Bring back Mordecai?
I wish they would have done something with him as Mordechai.
