LOL because he was wearing a cast on Smackdown the other week? I'm willing to bet this is a kayfabe injury to explain his absence for whatever reason (time off/WWE keeping him off TV because of TNA/etc).

Nope PWInsider reported he was having the surgery two weeks ago.

If this is true then I'm not surprised. Always thought he tone down the bumps when his arm is getting worked over in a match(which is almost every match). Like when he's thrown shoulder first to the ring post he goes all the way and it really looks like it could hurt.

This. Exactly.

I'm guessing that it's either a work or a minor surgery because he was taking time off anyway. If it was serious and required significant time off, WWE would have reported something on it. They reported the injury for Barrett, Cena, Kaitlyn, Rey Mysterio etc.

No matter what the case is, I can't wait for him to return. Christian has always been one of my favorite wrestlers.

Wasn't there a report a week or 2 ago saying he was being kept off tv because he's going to be inducting Sting at the HOF for TNA next month? And it would be weird having him on WWE tv one day and TNA the next.
