He was one of the few wrestlers that I still feel like he needs to speak out of "kayfabe", and say what's really on his mind. Cena, and Punk have done it. The Rock, Austin, and HHH have all done it as well during the "Attitude Era". Orton's heel work back in 05'-07' was phenomenal, and I think if he were to break a few walls down he may actually be an entertaining character again. Randy should hate the fans, and we should hate him. A heel turn is needed, and I think if played out right, it could be one of the better angles in WWE history.

I saw WWE was promoting him as the "Anti-Superstar" on Twitter today. I think he should be a heel. But as already said in this thread, how do you turn Orton heel at this point? It's the same problem WWE has with guys like CM Punk. The crowd will just continue to cheer them, no matter what you do. Why? Because the current WWE faces just aren't strong enough in their roles, in my opinion. The biggest problem is that the audience doesn't have any reason to cheer for guys like Cena and Sheamus. They are ALWAYS overcoming the odds. They never get knocked down to the point where the crowd wants to see them rise back up. When you're steamrolling the competition and always winning, the crowd isn't going to care as much as about those wins.

If Orton is ever going to be an effective heel again, he has to oppose an effective face.

Randy Orton is a straight up bad ass,his performance last night was beyond excellent which is why wwe needs to realize thats orton at his best when he's the bad guy

Heel Orton > Face Orton.
I'm a huge fan either way but, he wants to be a heel. And the fans want him to be a heel. So why doesn't WWE pull the trigger on this? Him flipping off the crowd, right before his "hitting of the mat" was just awesome. I'm betting he's just trying to get boo'd, so they can turn him heel.
