Bryan and Sheamus
Why did WWE not allow these two to have a good match at WM? I mean just look at their match on Smackdown.
These guys have ring chemistry together. Their matches are entertaining. But no, they have a bullshit 18 second match at the biggest PPV of the year.. and now we have Del Rio vs Sheamus for 3 months.
I do not like Sheamus, but this guy has potential for good entertaining matches. Sheamus vs Tensai was even good.. Tensai, for Christ's sake. Put him in the ring with guys like Orton, Ziggler, and Bryan, and you have some decent match quality.

Re: Bryan and Sheamus
Read somewhere that they were simply trying to break the fastest victory at WM record. Which they failed to do. I'm also guessing they saw it as the perfect opportunity to bury Bryan.
We all know how that turned out.
But I agree. Their match at Extreme Rules is my MOTY so far. And yeah Sheamus is a decent worker, but for the last few months (years maybe? Feels like years) he's been as unbearable as Cena in terms of predictability. Actually fuck that, he's worse than Cena. At least Cena can cut a promo that makes you think he might lose.

Re: Bryan and Sheamus
So Maria Menonous and Kelly Kelly could get more match time and to give Brodus Clays mammas more time to dance on the stage.
Nah, but seriously like the guy above me mentioned they tried to break the fastest match record but ultimately failed in doing so. The World title was buried even more in this process and it didn't serve much purpose, except for Daniel Bryan getting over ironically. Plus they never expected Daniel Bryan to get the crowd support he did after the joke of a match.

Re: Bryan and Sheamus
At WM they were trying to brush Bryan under the carpet and hoped that match would help, that sort of backfired on them.
Good thing as their 2/3 falls match was great and so was their Street Fight about a month back. I'll have to watch their match later today.

Re: Bryan and Sheamus
In hindsight, it ended up being a blessing in disguise for Bryan. One of the most over guys in the company at the moment, and getting plenty of airtime on the main show (RAW). Meanwhile, Sheamus is wallowing away on SmackDown as WHC. I certainly know who I'd rather be.

I certainly won't argue that Bryan actually gained a lot from it, which is fantastic. But my concern is still the fact that they basically didn't even have a match on WM.
Sheamus can sit on SD as the WHC for all I care, until Ziggler, Barrett, Orton, or even Del Rio wins it.. just still wish they would have given the match ample time. They proved to me again last night that Bryan and Sheamus somehow have chemistry.
At least Bryan isn't in the course of getting burried, at all. He's my favorite part of WWE right now. I'm loving him and Kane and the anger management as a whole.

Re: Bryan and Sheamus
Honestly, I no longer think it was an attempt to bury Bryan. They thought they were giving him a "Wrestlemania moment" or some bullshit and that was the best they could come up with. I'm now convinced that they really thought they were helping him.
WWE has forgotten how to use heels, and so they Honkey-Tonk-ed him. It was a bush league move that they thought was some sort of favor to him. I'm sure they're all patting themselves on the back over that one.

Re: Bryan and Sheamus
I'd like to see Sheamus/Bryan, but I also want to see how the Bryan/Kane storyline turns out, would be amazing to see some tag matches between Kane/Bryan and Sheamus/tag partner.

BEcause Vince wouldn't want his new golden boy being shown up as the poor wrestler that he is on the biggest stage of them all, by the GOAT Daniel Bryan

aww, the goat... how mean. I love Bryan, Sheamus is a crowd pleaser just like Cena, another wrestler I extremely dislike.
