Worse yet, if he turns heel, it's because he's Del Rio's surprise that he teased earlier this week. Why allign Christian with Del Rio, a man who took him out in kayfabe for months? Christian has fallen all the way down to a lackey for a top heel. This is why in other threads I commented that Christian had to stay face as he'll never get a real chance to shine as a top heel. As a heel, WWE views Christian as an irrelevant jobber or lackey in storylines, which is much worse than any face booking that he would receive.
No its not. It would be horrible decision for the product since there are too many heels already but for christian's character its good. His face run has completely worn out, they jobbed him out too much, 100% depleted. People barely react to him anymore, entrances or during matches he doesnt get much support. This heel turn could make him interesting again and Christian damn sure is good enough to get heat from any crowd. Infact, he needs this. Guys like Christian, chris jericho etc.. always work best as heels.

No one will boo Christian. In case you have forgotten, when he was heel last year he was coming out to dead silence because the crowd wanted to cheer him. There's no point of turning him back.

I hope Christian doesn't turn heel again. Because they'll make him a whiny, cowardly heel again like last year. That might have worked in 2002 but it will not work in 2012, as last year proved.

God I hope it's not Ryback that accepts Barrett's challenge. Even if Barrett were to beat him, I still wouldn't be happy, because it's a feud that he CAN'T win. Sure, he could get a few fluke victories, but it will just end with Ryback winning the feud, and Barrett looking like shit. It would be the Orton feud all over again. No thank you.

They're telling a story with him, but because it's go home week to the PPV, they had to focus more on what's happening on Sunday and they don't want Sandow losing, so he can't be thrown out there like Bryan or Otunga to job to Sheamus for no reason.
He should be in the IC title picture, and hopefully he will be after the PPV, but one week off tv isn't going to kill him. Sure, it hurts, but it's not gonna kill him. Plus, he's just too good not to make it, so I'm not that worried about it. For now. I'm aggravated I didn't see him this week but he'll make it.
I understand they don't want to send him out there to get his ass kicked like a regular jobber. Still though, if in doubt with what to do with him give him a promo, give him a squash match, give him SOMETHING, don't just leave him off TV like he's Christian.

This. Exactly.
Christian is talented enough to work as a heel. But WWE will not book Christian to be the heel that he needs to be to get a reaction (for some reason WWE refuses to book a heel Christian like he got over in 2004/2005). He will become the #2 and associate to Del Rio and the guy that eats all of Sheamus' pins to continue the Del Rio/Sheamus feud. This is not a good card position for Christian. He can do more than just job to any face opponent, and that's exactly what they will do with Christian. His one more match character completely failed. If creative went back to that, it would fail again. Christian doesn't work as a complaining heel at this stage of his career as people want to cheer him.
As a heel, who would he feud with? He's not getting Sheamus or Orton when he returns from his movie. The US and IC title scene has heel champions. That leaves Ryback and Clay. And neither are feuds that I really want to see Christian in. I'm much more interested in a Christian/Sandow or Christian/Cesaro feud and that can only happen if Christian remains a face.

I don't want him having more squash matches, but I agree, he should do something. It'll happen, though, so whatever. This isn't the first time a guy missed a week of tv and got momentum again. I am irritated but it's one week, and go home week at that, I'm not gonna throw up my arms over that.

There's not even one good reason to turn Christian heel. It would make zero sense. As noted, nobody wants to boo him, there are too many heels as it is, his only potential feuds in the near future would be with Brodus and Ryback, and he wouldn't get to be the kind of heel he was during his first WWE run and in TNA. Plus he's considerably better in the ring as a face, which makes him far more valuable as a veteran.
Maybe some of us are reading too much into it, but saying that a move should be banned is not something a face does, especially in his home state/province. (Of course, all but the top faces walked out on Triple H last year, so who knows.)
If they're turning him because of the lukewarm reactions he was receiving during his most recent face run, then that's ridiculous, as a) he'd get even less of a reaction as a heel; b) he still got the crowd into his matches, which is a testament to his likability and shows that they're willing to support him; and c) his lack of heat was Vince/Creative's fault. He never had this problem before. From his return a few years ago to his (ill-advised) heel turn, he was one of the most over faces in the company. Then he turned into a generic whiny chickenshit, lost all his matches to Orton and Sheamus, and had Teddy, Triple H, Bret, and Edge all calling him a bitch. You can't just bring that character back, start booking him against heels, and expect everyone to get behind him again. That heel run did a ton of damage to him, and he needed to endear himself to the fans again. With next to no mic time, little ring time, and no storylines (the Cody feud started pretty well but went nowhere), he wasn't given a chance to do so.
And when a guy doesn't matter, the fans pick up on it and react accordingly. You're perceived as you're presented. In his last month or so, he was neither a top face nor a comedy act, just a guy coming out for a short match he was probably going to lose.
