Really? More fragile than Kennedy? Candice? Batista?
Anyway, hopefully this is minor and doesn't require surgery.
Kennedy isn't fragile. Two of his injuries happened because his opponents did something other than what they were supposed to do. His first injury came when somebody he was in the ring with went against the spot they had planned and decided to kick him off the apron, sending him flying past the guardrail which tore his lat. Another one came when his opponent was supposed to do a roll up and instead caught him off guard with a finisher which tore his shoulder. He's only had one legitimate injury that happened out of the blue for no reason. The other 2 are mistakes that his opponents made which ended up costing him his career. What a pity. Now all he can do is go to TNA, where success is impossible. He needs to use it as a crutch to get back in the WWE.
I have no idea how often Candice is injured, since I don't pay attention to women's wrestling. Batista hasn't had that much time off, that I've noticed. He did get injured this time because from his last injury, he didn't come back at 100% and it cost him.
Edge on the other hand gets injured every year, he's had like 7 injuries. If "made of glass" was ever appropriate for a wrestler, it's him.
i think since they have to vacate the belts, when Edge returns, Jericho will blame him for making the lose, thus turning Edge face. But FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK no Edge? Thats gonna suck for Smackdown.

Noooo!!!!
Dam thats a big blow to Smackdown! i still have complete faith that it will maintain the same degree of excellence that it has done the last few months, but dam.
I can totally see this being used to turn Edge face if he's out for a lengthy period of time. Maybe they can bring back the pretty hard core return videos of past. I remember getting real excited years ago when Kane was returning, when he came back with his new mask and things... actually its pretty sad as i think that may have been the last time i had been excited about anything to do with Kane.
As far as the titles go, i would be cool if they were vacated out of Jericho's control and he re-entered the tournament with Christian or Matt Hardy and won them back. Then they could go down the same path they were always going to with Edge and Jericho i suppose, with apropriate changes of course.
If it's just a sprain, that's actually a really good thing since next week's smackdown is already taped. Then they can also just have a promo or something the week after, potentially giving them up until NOC to actually get in the ring.
people are getting all butt hurt over something that was reported by somebody attending a live show..sure its a good source but wait for the E to actually confirm before you guys start to cry.
i was at the show, just got home. he threw Jeff into the turnbuckle, jeff slingshotted over the top of him and he hit the turnbuckle and went down. it didn't look like much and at first i thought it was part of the act. then i saw Charles Robinson put up the "X". it looked like Edge tried to get up and just couldn't. he called over Justin Roberts then it was announced that the match was stopped. the match only went on for about five minutes and the first three he was taunting the crowd. it was his left leg/ankle area. when he was on the mat, he was trying not to move it at all. they rolled him out of the ring and it took two referees and an official to get him to the back. he did say "sorry" and shook his head in dissapointment. and it sounded like he was in a lot of pain. after he got to the back, two referees were in the ring sweeping up the area by the corner, i'm not sure if there was something on the mat that made it slippery or what but that was their main focus. at the beginning of the match he pretended to get on the ropes and taunt the crowd then he pretended to fall off the ropes several times like a klutz. as everyone in the arena was laughing, he got on the mic and said "The ropes are slippery" so at first i thought it was part of the act.
