Anybody else wondering why Matt Hardy is hyping himself?

Matt Hardy posted the following blog on his MySpace page yesterday:
The Hurdle Awaits..and I'm ready to cross it, jump it, or plow over it. Either way, I'm excited to enter into a new, better chapter of my life and career. A chapter that I've waited for many years to finally write.. and the time is now. For all my loyal and faithful peeps, thanks for always supporting and believing in me. Get ready, cause when I re-debut on Smackdown, nothing's gonna stop me-in the ring or in life..
Hardy also posted "A Brand New Matt Hardy Is Coming". "Be Ready!!!" on his Twitter page.
Whoa! What does this mean for Matt Hardy? Do you think the WWE is planning something amazing for him, or is the guy talking out of his ass? I have no clue, but it sounds really, really interesting to me. I think it would be great if Matt Hardy helped Jeff win the World Heavy Weight title from CM Punk, and then help him again during his re-match with CM Punk. Then have Matt become the No. 1 contender for the title, (Somehow) and make it a career threatening match, where CM Punk will get involved, and try to 'help' Jeff Hardy, but only mess things up for him, so in turn helping Matt Hardy win, and this way both Punk and Matt obtain heat from taking Jeff out of the WWE. I don't know, it's probably far-fetched. I just want Matt to become WHC soon. :/
So what do you guys think it means? Do you care? Is Matt Hardy full of it?
Re: Anybody else wondering why Matt Hardy is hyping himself?
Matt Hardy hypes himself so fans like you can talk about him on the internet and is working.

Re: Anybody else wondering why Matt Hardy is hyping himself?
Maybe he's trying to come up with something for himself in the absence of support from WWE creative. It didn't do Zack Ryder any harm did it? Woo Woo Woo, You Know It.

Re: Anybody else wondering why Matt Hardy is hyping himself?
I think this could be a blessing in disguise, the SD creative will give him a purpose on smackdown, and with a purpose comes overness either as a heel or face, and with comes titles.
On a smackdown roster with all guys able to beat one another (Taker exeption) he will have his chance to be higher up the card, and hopefully, because he deserves it, a world title in the next 2 years.
Re: Anybody else wondering why Matt Hardy is hyping himself?
Haven't they pulled that trick enough already?

He hypes himself on the internet, because the WWE won't.

I do have one question for anyone who might feel that Dwayne Johnson "owes" the business. Is it just him, or is it anyone who moved on to other things? Should Luna Vachon get heat for running a towing company instead of working on RAW? Should Maven be critiqued on his Home Shopping Network bits instead of wrestling?
Or is it only the ones who go on to highly visible careers in movies that owe something? Why do Johnson (who left after putting people over, doing the traditionally "right thing") and Lesnar (who did not; except for making Eddie a legitimate star) get called sell-outs who "forgot where they came from" when someone who retires to do some regular job get credit (as they should) for moving on and making it without falling into a sea of addiction?
