I'm just so glad he cut a promo like that because it proves some of the people wrong who keep going on and on about how the PG rating holds everything back. Seems like they are giving Punk the ball and letting him run with it without looking back and it's lovely to say the least.
People tend to exaggerate a bit when it comes to this PG crap. The only two things that bother me are no blood in Hardcore-Matches and some crappy face characters like MVP who are briliant when they're a bit more serious.

The face character thing don't really have much to do with the rating it just has to do with them trying too hard to make MVP be liked by the fans. More of a booking team issue than because of the rating.

Just a nice little story they can use should they go that road.
Yeah how awesome is that two guys who made their name on ECW can now end up co headlining one of the biggest PPV's of the year. Me being a mark for both of them I really hope they go with this match at Summerslam. Letting the future lead the way.

Won't happen, not at Summerslam. The Undertaker will probably be back by then and will want to challenge for the title.
Re: On Going Spoilers for Smackdown July 10th, 2009
I have a question:
why are they recording lots of shows this week? i understand if they were just recording smackdown like before WM with double tapings but they double taped ECW i think, smackdown and they had a live and recorded raw :\ that really confused me. Is something happening in america next week i missed? or is raw going to be recorded to save money? or is it a test to improve smackdown to see if a recorded show draws less?
i would make a new thread but it seems pointless if i get the answer in 1 post lol.
help??

Something about superstars being away for the overseas tour of...Australia? Somewhere anyways.
And, just because Undertaker is returning, doesn't mean he will automatically get a title match on his first PPV match. Plus Summerslam is held in LA, homestate of JoMo, so they might want something a little bigger for him. From these spoilers, it certainly hints at JoMo challenging the winner of the world title match at NOC, unless they just have a title match on Smackdown or something...a three way between Jeff/Punk/Morrison at Summerslam would own.
