Just saw the show for this week. It was a decent show this week, still great buildup with Punk as champion. I like how he justifies his actions at The Bash, he is coming off really strong. Dolph Ziggler seems to be going places now, with a win over R-Truth. Its kind of dumb how they make a partnership (sort of) between Maria, Layla, and Eve and now Maria and Layla face-off with no explanation of what happened. Well maybe I missed something, because I don't watch Superstars. The Word Up segment this week is just as bad as last weeks.

Re: SmackDown July 3rd spoilers (finally!).
Another solid edition of SmackDown tonight. From start to finish, this was a really fun show that was stacked heavy with wrestling bouts. A few really stood out tonight and the build up has already began for Night of Champions.
This next stage in the CM Punk heel turn is being handled brilliantly. Punk is doing so well in his role at the moment and his promos each week have got better and better. He is getting the fans to dislike him instantly and even when he gives an explanation, the fans still resent him. Jeff Hardy is also performing well in this rivalry, from his facial expressions to his own sort of mind games. Jeff faking an eye injury was hilarious tonight but in a beneficial way. It happened out of no where and it confused Punk, which I liked. A small amount of revenge for Jeff Hardy but it's still not enough. Jeff got one over on Punk after The Bash and now we progress onto next week where this feud will continue to grow.
A refreshing feud between two of the top talents on the SmackDown brand.
Plus, after watching the show tonight it seems to confirm that Jeff Hardy has signed a new contract with the WWE. Reason being is they advertised the UK tour and on the televised show, they actually announced Jeff Hardy will be there in November. Now, all things can change but why have advertisements of these UK shows where Jeff Hardy is not featured on there only to make a brand new one where they announce Jeff? Guess we'll have to wait and see. I hope he has signed with the WWE again; Jeff has been on a role since late 2006 and I would love for his exhilirating rivalry with Punk to continue for a few more months.
Now then, the matches tonight were great and some served a purpose. Mysterio/Kane was a good match, which didn't surprise me as these two have shown they can have some fun encounters in the past. Shame we're going to have to witness another Kane/Khali battle. The Womens division is actually having meaning behind it now with this intense feud between Melina and Michelle McCool. Dolph Ziggler continues to impress and also had a good little match with R-Truth. Cryme Tyme fought The Hart Dynasty in another promising tag team bout. Finlay made a positive addition to the SmackDown roster. Finally, the tag team Main Event was a great way to conclude the show.
Time for the best 2 hours or rasslin' on TV! I hope Punk continues to sell the eye. If he comes out with a bandage or patch over the eye I'll mark like a madman!
Edit: Dang, no eye patch. Love all the hate he's getting from the crow. And he's still trying to act like a face. I f'n love it.
