Re: Candice Michelle released
I'm disappointed after reading this news as I liked Candice. I felt personally, that she was improving in 2007 and for that she was awarded the Womens Championship. Heck, she was starting to get over with the fans just before her devastating fall from the top rope. She then came back too early and injured herself a couple of weeks after her return and thus, missed WrestleMania XXIV. Several months later she made another comeback and albeit, rusty for the first few weeks on her return; she started to pick up the pace and seemed to be on the ball again (she had a good match with Beth Phoenix at No Mercy last year) and unfortunately, she injured herself once again.
Candice may have been injured constantly. And to be honest, I expected this was going to happen sooner or later as she was gone for so long. So am I shocked by the news? No. Am I sad to see the WWE did let her go? Yes, because I was a fan of hers. She showed a lot of passion in that ring and after a good run in 2007, I felt she could elevate even further in terms of her wrestling skills and her status in the Womens division. Unfortunately, injuries got in the way and this would all lead to her release. Such a shame.
That broken clavicle, when she injured it, was really painful to watch. She landed on her head it seemed though her shoulder clearly got the worst of it. Beth's reaction to it was one of arkwardness and shock before having to finish the match by pinning her.
I'm surprised they just released her now. A couple of months ago there was a report about her slacking off on her rehab so it's an expectant release.
P.S. It's funny how all of the people who looked big in 2007 are slowly getting released.

JR: I don't think you did, but be that as it may, we're live.
there is a chance she goes to TNA....
because what tna lacks is marketability and promotion..not too many people know about TNA,candice is still a marketable person and has mainstream exposure away from wrestling audiences..
also AJ could train her and also teach her how to take bumps..

If Candice signs with TNA, and she bring Go Daddy and Playboy with her, well that's all positive advertisement. Candice on the cover of a playboy draped in a TNA flag...
I could see TNA taking her. She'd pretty much instantly be the most famous woman in the company to a general audience. Could even use the same name seeing as it's her birthname. It really depends on how well she can go in the ring after being injured for so long. She was bordering on decent once upon a time but now it's anyone's guess how rusty she is.
I feel bad for Candice fans but for Women Wrestling, it is a blessing!! WWE messed up by having Melina lose to Candice cleanly, when Candice was just a botch machine. I said it in the Divas section she was going to be released this year but I figured in the fall. Candice doesnt belong in the ring, hopefully she pick up her foot fetish career again or go to TNA. That would be cool but not in a WWE ring..... ever again. Thank you WWE with releasing Ashley and Candice!!
Shows what Cena knows when he said Candice was the top Diva.
