Re: Is Jeff Hardy getting more Popular than John Cena?
Jeff Hardy was always more popular than Cena because of his fangirls years ago. Cena's still breaking out to those out of wrestling and becoming familiar with them.
Re: Is Jeff Hardy getting more Popular than John Cena?
John Cena is much more of a recognized name then Jeff Hardy is thus making Cena more popular. He is the image of wrestling just like Hogan was back in the 80's. When people think of wrestling they think of John Cena not Jeff Hardy.
Sure, at the moment Hardy can out pop Cena but that doesn't mean is is particularly more popular. Jeff has a long way to go to achieve that status. Cena has been on top for a few years now. But seeing a new face as champion has lit a spark in the fans, this question is best to be asked after Jeff Hardy has had more mainstream exposure which doesn't happen in a split second which you are making it out to seem.

I must be out of touch, because whenever i talk to a random person who doesnt know much about wrestling, they don't know who Cena is, but they do know who Hardy is mainly from his TLC antics back in the day, to be honest they couldnt name you anyone that wasnt out of the attitude era.
Maybe i'm not with what the kids are with these days, i do think Cena's visibility towards the mainstream audience is vastly overstated.

Nah my mom who has never watched wrestling in her life knows who John Cena is as well as a good amount of people I know. They either know him from commercials or his movie.

Your most likely right, most of the people i talk to, used to watch sparingly during the attitude era, and always seem shocked to hear that people like Hardy, Triple H & Undertaker are still wrestling.
That being said, show a casual adult male who has never seen wrestling before, Jeff Hardy doing a Swanton and then show them John Cena doing the 'you can't see me' bit and then i'm pretty sure who 90 percent of the casual adult males would be impressed by.
WWE havent even begun to explore the marketability of Jeff Hardy, and looking from WWE's perspective i can understand why they wouldnt go there. I said when i first joined this forum that Jeff Hardy could be a bigger star than John Cena, and nothing's changed my mind, and i stand by that, doesnt mean its going to happen, because Hardy has to much baggage.
Then again Cena ain't really marketed towards me, so maybe i'll never 'get it'.

You can't be serious...
That is the worst example I have ever heard.
