About a couple of months ago, someone on this board (I don't remember who) commented on The Undertaker's gogoplata submission finisher and its name. He or she suggested the name "The Deadlock". I liked this name,(I refuse to call it the "mysterious submission move", as WWE calls it) so I decided to call it that for a while. Then, about 3 weeks ago, I was on Wikipedia on Undertaker's page. I looked at the finishers section and saw that someone had put the name "Death Valley Vice." I then thought that that was the official name (because everything on Wikipedia is true) and called it that (I liked it also). Finally, tonight, I look back on WP and see that it is now called the "Devil's Triangle". I am not liking that name, and wonder if THAT is the official name. Or is it just called the gogoplata. I am totally confused. Someone please help me in my time of finisher name need.

Accrding t JRs blog the official name is the devils triangle. they arent allowed to call it the gogoplata anymore

It was never called the gogoplata, atleast on tv. The official name is now Devil's triangle though they once called it Death Valley Vice

They never even called it the gogoplata on T.V though that was what just people on here were calling it since that was the proper name for the move. Before they would just call it "that chokehold" or a "triangle choke" So it's more so them just finally giving it a proper name.

Actually Tazz once on television did refer to it as the gogoplata, thats how i found out what it was

It was never called the gogoplata. Web reporters labelled it as such, as did people on here.

JR/Tazz/Cole/Foley etc all referred to as the "submission move." It's official name is the Devil's triangle.
