I was kind of confused at first as well, but if you think about it, it makes sense.

WWE gets the majority of buyrates in America, and Khali would not draw in most Western countries at all. Someone said India don't even pay for these events, so from a business perspective it was unjustified.
I would rather MVP or someone similar job but put in a credible performance. This isn't drawing so they may as well do something productive.
