Predicted Taker/Edge HIAC at SummerSlam a while ago, as did a few other people

Unlike most I have thoroughly enjoyed this feud, every match has been fantastic.

Retarded booking in HHH/Khali. Big Show and Hardy were significantly better options, even MVP/Umaga/Kennedy were vastly superior. WWE need to grasp what draws.

to all of you complaining already about HHH vs Khali lets consider this is a guy who put together a very watchable match between show and a guy who has never wrestled in his life. Lets watch then bitch guys.

He's a decent draw and don't try and say he isn't, he main evented the PPV last year as Smackdown's champion, there is no reason he shouldn't main event this year, even if the IWC doesn't like it and it angers Hardy marks. Khali is reliable, consistent, over enough to be champion. They trust him and again, that's why they put him in a WWE title feud in May and June of last year on RAW and that's why they put the WHC on him when Edge was injured. They could have easily put it on Kane or Batista, they could have even brought someone over from an other brand like the did with Kurt Angle in '06, but no. They put it on Khali and had him retain at GAB '07 and SS '07.

I didnt say he wasnt a draw, he is certainly a draw in India, but even you a big Hardy hater as you are cant claim him to be a bigger draw than Jeff Hardy, he may be more reliable but thats a whole different topic.

TBH i could give two flying fucks if he is reliable, it matters not to me, what matters to me is being entertained when i watch a wrestling show, and the Great fucking Khali is not going to entertain me or the majority of the audience.

There was two stand out wrestlers that could of faced Triple H at Summerslam, Big Show & Jeff Hardy. They are both better performers, better draws, and generally better in every way than Khali.

If you are WWE and you dont have the faith in Jeff Hardy to push him, you shouldnt be building him up through things such as the WWE magazine article focusing on the WWE title, because when you dont deliver it is going to piss of his fans.

I could be wrong by saying this but are WWE buyrates down internationally? If so, it makes sense to put Khali in the main event because he'll boost the international buyrates up unlike Show and Hardy.

As far as i'm aware WWE business is up everywhere other than North America, and the only place Khali is going to boost international figures over Show or Hardy is in India, where the market is still not all that profitable or exploitable so the logic of Khali doesnt add up, he isnt going to boost PPV buys because they dont have WWE on ppv in India.

Tbh, if the Great Khali wasn't entertaining he wouldn't still be around or he would have been moved to ECW and possibly kept of TV. You can hardly speak for the majority of the audience, maybe you can make an educated guess about the IWC's reaction, but not the majority. He defended the World title last year at SummerSlam in Smackdown's main event and he'll compete for it this year.

I'm hardly a big Hardy hater, I just don't mark for him like you do and am more realistic. You don't give the belt to someone who is notorious for being a "risktaker" and was suspended for the second time in under a year 5 months ago. Especially at a big PPV like SummerSlam.

You may not care if he's reliable, but the WWE does, and just like you will constantly throw the "Hardy sells, Hardy sells, that's a reason for him to be champ" Khali is reliable, consistent, and obviously a draw enough that they'd put him in the ME now. You could argue they didn't really have a choice last year, (if you ignore the fact they could bring anyone over from ECW or RAW, and that Batista and Kane were there) but they certainly do have other choices now. They still chose Khali.
