I really don't like the thought of Matt having a short US Title reign just because of his move to ECW (Lord knows no one deserves a good run as a singles champ more than him) but Shelton is definately the person he should drop it to when he does drop it.

Short reign? Matt has been virtually unbeatable since winning the title. Hell, the loss to Edge last week is the only time I can remember him losing since he beat MVP.

True....he has been booked very well since coming off his injury. Can't complain about that...but he's still only been US Champ for about 2 months. Can't speak for everyone else but I personally was hoping he would have a somewhat lengthy reign as U.S. Champ.
