Steal the WWE Championship off Triple H on SmackDown!? I mean, actually BEAT him and win the WWE Championship?

I think there's a pretty good chance of that happening, it would lead very nicely into the wedding.

If Edge did win the WWE title this Friday, I'd mark (again).

Thoughts?

He could do, saying as Vince thinks Edge is better with the title than when he is chasing for the title.

I wouldn't be surprised if Edge eventually takes the title off of Triple H but I wouldn't bet on that day being this Friday.

I really hope Edge wins the title, i much prefer him to HHH but i dont think it will happen any time soon.

With the recent events I wouldn't be surprised if something like this happens. I mean I would be surprised but the passed two weeks WWE has been pretty unpredictable.

Why would they give Edge the title again straight away when they are potentially going to fued him with HHH anyway it just doesn't make any sense.

Im pretty sure that he'll take some time off after the wedding because a certain someone comes back and beats the shit out of him, leaving a main event spot open.

...he could as a 'wedding' present from Vickie get multiple shots at HHH until he wins it, but I've got Edge losing b/c of Ryder and Hawkins screwing something up.

A face superstar chasing a heel for a title is more appealing to the casual, therefore interest and ratings go up. For example, I've always liked it more when John Cena is chasing the title more than his reigns.

He probably will eventually.

But I don't think they're going to give away Triple H vs Edge on free TV.
