He wouldn't be credible enough as a monster (again) to be honest. So many guys went over him the last couple of years that it would hardly make sense for him to start dominating again.

When Kane first debuted in the Hell in a Cell match between Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker i thought he had a chance to be an absolute legend in the same mould as The Undertaker especially a few months later when he won the WWF title from Stone Cold Steve Austin but WWE just dropped the ball on him by turning him face which went completely against his character and i don't think Kane ever really recovered from that.

When WWE had Kane as a heel again in 2003 i thought they were surely going to get it right this time and a feud against Shawn Michaels was a great way to go seeing how Shawn Michaels was probably the most over person on the entire WWE roster at that time but again they dropped the ball with Kane and had him turn face again in a feud with Snitsky and then Edge but the real damage was done when they took the mask off of him.

If Kane was to turn heel again he could work very well because he is so much better in the role of a heel than he is as a face but if he were to have the mask back on i really believe that he would be a very credible WWE or World champion given a decent push to build him back up again, it's quite strange when you think about it that a mask could pretty much determine on how much success a wrestler could possibly have but that is the way it is with Kane and as a masked Kane he could be great again but whether he would want to at this stage of his career is another matter.

My gawd, Kane as a heel 4 years ago and before was unbelievable! His fueds with Shane (2003) and Jericho (2000/1) were perfect examples of how good he was at portraying his twisted monster gimmick.

However, I can't bare him as a face anymore, and especially for so damn long. Like someone earlier said and rightly so, he needs his mask back or maybe even a manager to get the beast back!

That's were a manager would come in and rekindle the fire so to speak.

In 2003 his feud with shane wasnt to good, I mean, Shane beat him up a bit by sending him into a dumpster and stuff. Kanes a monster, that shouldnt happen to monsters against normal people.

Anyway he should stay face, ECW has to much heels as someone said.
