I was thinking about this, but I found a great way to turn Undertaker into a heel. Hear me out before bashing this idea:

Undertaker gets his belt back at Judgment Day. He ends up defeating The Big Show, Umaga and whoever else is a threat to the World Championship (MVP or Finlay maybe, possibly CM Punk). He defeats them all. After defeating them all, the logical thing to do would be to feud with Batista, but since we have seen that a million times, Taker has no legit contenders left without going to Raw. Or so we thought.

There is one superstar on Smackdown that The Undertaker has yet to face: Rey Mysterio. He's injured right now, but once he comes back he's likely to get revenge on Edge (if Edge does not take time off), but after Edge is done, Rey may want to go after the Deadman.

Now why Rey? For several reasons: he's a favorite among the kids and the Latino Audience. He may be the second most popular superstar among kids (behind Cena of course). He also does a lot of merchandise among the kids.

Rey and Undertaker face each other and Rey puts up a heck of a fight, but loses. Undertaker, not caring for the rules, puts Rey in the Gogoplata forcing Rey to tap out and bleed from the mouth (and therefore making the kids cry) and Taker refuses to let go of the hold and is booed badly for "injuring" Rey again.

Destroying a returning Rey Mysterio would be the only way to turn the Undertaker into a full heel, but it would prove a point:

It doesn't matter who you are, if you get in his way, The Deadman will destroy you.

it would also prove that nobody is safe from the Undertaker and destroying Rey Mysterio would mean that every single WWE Superstar would not be safe from the Undertaker. If I was to book a heel Undertaker, I would have him wreck havoc on Raw as well, putting Raw's top guys in harm's way of The Undertaker. Imagine him putting on the gogoplata and forcing the likes of Chris Jericho, Triple H, John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Jeff Hardy, William Regal, Randy Orton and John Bradshaw Layfield to tap out and bleed from the mouth and Taker not letting go after the bell rings.

A reign of terror from the Undertaker would be the perfect way to end his career and whoever beats him will be remembered forever.

Its a nice idea, espeially the bit about him wrecking havoc throughout the WWE as a way for him to end his career

the only problem i see is that no matter what you do to turn undertaker heel, i think he will still get one hell of a pop

simply because it is the undertaker

also i dont know if they could really build Rey up as a credible challenge to the Undertaker, simply because of the differences in size etc.

If booked right its possible but i couldn't really see it working

i would personally just keep taker in his tweener role and have him feud with heels and faces, such as matt hardy

a taker/matt hardy feud could be great i think

That would be the only way to have any chance of him turning heel. The attacking Mysterio bit.

Nice idea,I'd like to see it but no chance of it happening.

Very good idea about Rey.

I would like to see Paul Bearer, Undertaker reunite once again and turn heel and maybe even bring back the ministry of darkness. It would start with Undertaker in a rivalry with a face ''Probably Batista as Undertaker would probably be the better and popular superstar'' And Bearer would happen to walk out. Undertaker would get DQ'ed then he would start to become heel.

I highly doubt fans are going to boo Undertaker, no matter what he does.

Rey Mysterio IS over with the kids, but he's starting to get Cena boos.

No way fans are going to cheer him over Taker.

It would take some backstage incident leaking and snowballing for this to even be possible. And even that's a stretch.

Even if Taker attacked Rey in his hometown hed only get some boos and by the time they go somewhere else, theyll be going crazy for him. And in the east coast and canada, forget it. Rey would get Cena-type heat over there.

I was gonna be like no one the fans will boo Taker until I read it. This might work cause Rey is loved by the fans esp by the kids as you said. It would be great, but at the same time WWE is in desperate need of faces. And he is one of those few faces who is always over, never gets booed, and is one of the most crediable face we have. So while a great idea idk if it'd be the smart thing to do because it's easy to get some heat even if you get some cheap heat. It's hard to do what he has done to not even have to say a word rly and get the cheers that he gets.

nice enough idea, needs more too it though, theres more than kids watching smackdown
