I doubt that will happen. I don't think Undertaker would be able to compete full time for a year.
I'm still unsure of where WWE is going with Edge and Undetaker right now. I hope they have something interesting planned other than a clean win by Undertaker which wouldn't make much sense.
As far as HHH goes I don't understand why one of the best wrestlers on the roster and one of the most over guys is getting so much hate.

Re: Edge is the next champion if Vince has anything to do with it
"Triple H is just coving up his farts by coughing. Putting people over at Wrestlemania is just a way to cover the fact the he's going to beat Flair's record someday but of course since he puts people over at Mania who cares."
I highly doubt he will beat Flair's record. I think the official record of Flair World title wins was 20 - am I correct? I am 110% certain it's not 16 title reigns the way WWE market it. Some people need to step out of the year 2003 and stop throwing unjustifiable accusations at Trips.
As for Edge winning the title, I don't mind - not that I watch Smackdown much anymore. There's something a little more appealing to have Undertaker chase Edge for the belt until One night stand (only 2 weeks after, right?) to win back the belt. If the program is to continue between the two, I think it's essential to have Edge win it back for a short while only to lose the blow-off match (a gimmick of some kind).

Re: Edge is the next champion if Vince has anything to do with it
If the problem with letting Taker have the belt is that there aren't enough good contenders for it on Smackdown (ie, at his level), isn't that easily fixed by re-shuffling the rosters? I know Raw is the "A" show and all that, and there are a few guys who would have to stay on it for whatever reason, but I think a reshuffling would do everybody some good. If Taker vs Batista or Taker vs Edge is outplayed, couldn't they send those guys to Raw and send Orton or Cena or Umaga or whoever over in their place?

Edge taking time off is merely rumors.
If he was going to take a break, then why not start after Backlash and use that submission assault on him after the match as an excuse? :

i still say they're missing the boat by not having 'taker as champ and having mvp as the antagonist.

Vince stripped Taker was stupid, Taker needs great challengers ?? ok Just move Shawn or Hunter or Jericho or even Umaga to Smackdown!

Re: Edge is the next champion if Vince has anything to do with it
Shawn Michaels goes to church on Tuesdays. I would love to see him on Smackdown but it just won't happen.
Triple H won't go to Smackdown becuase he doesn't want which is bullshit. You get paid to do your fucking job. I can't believe WWE allows Triple H to do what he wants so often. Just look how he used his politics to end Orton's reign.
Jericho and Umaga would be great choices. Smackdown has Big Show there as well but writers aren't smart enough to notice it.

Undertaker on RAW would have tons of challengers. John Cena, Triple H, Umaga, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, the list goes on.

Re: Edge is the next champion if Vince has anything to do with it
I'm not quite sure where they're going with this angle. I have trouble seeing the Undertaker winning the belt back this Sunday; if he does, then what was the point of stripping him? It would also help continue the feud awhile longer.
I suspect we might see Vickie interfere and receive Taker's chokehold only for Edge to get a rollup pin or spear from behind. He could celebrate and show no regard for Vickie's injury. This would put her out of action for a few weeks. Maybe in the mean time they have Teddy Long setup Edge/Taker in a TLC at One Night Stand where Edge narrowly escapes. Vickie could return pissed at Edge and sign a Hell in a Cell at Vengeance/Night of Champions where Taker could pick up the title again. The draft would be around this time too. Taker could feud with Umaga, MVP, or someone else throughout Summerslam and maybe Edge would go back to Raw so the show has 2 top heels, the other being Orton of course.

You got it! It wouldn't surprise me one bit if HHH requests WWE vacate all the titles so he can win them all in tournaments. Women's title included. I mean come on, just look at how they planted that seed on RAW during the Regal-Mickie segment. The selfish prick!! Man, if he wasn't practically the boss because of his marriage to Steph he'd probably be out on his useless ass somewhere. The no-good talentless slob!
