And he's worked for it. The guy got saddled with horrible gimmick after horrible gimmick, but has consistently improved and struggled to get where he is now.
It feels right, because people know that he had to swim upriver through a tide of utter shit to get to this point. As opposed to being hand-picked and shoved down our throats.
It can't be overstated just how important it is to look like a star. With his chiseled physique, legitimate 6'3"-6'4" frame, and Hollywood (Bollywood?) looks, it's not hard to view Jinder as a top star, even after years of being a jobber. One the other hand, it's almost impossible to take guys like Kevin Owens and Bray Wyatt seriously as top stars.
Now just have him pass USADA, you know, the drug test system that Brock failed despite not failing WWE tests for months(YEARS really), and I'll be impressed by his body.
Until that happens, I see a juice head punk with obvious gyno who had to cheat to be any good and catch peoples attention.
I gotta admit, I didn't liked him at first and was unhappy with him being the number one contender...
But I loved that segment. His good promo along with his great look, his minions helping him to beat up Randy Orton, Him deciding to just leave with the title and the crowd actually hating him... I had fun, it reminded me of the old day in WWE and that was a nice feeling
He looks like an absolute king with the title :mark
Still on the fence about having the Bollywood Boyz with him as they are the epitome of jobbers, however the rumor going around is that Jeet Rama (An absolute Giant at 6'9) will be joining the group, If so the group has a lot of potential for the future. Hopefully after Jinder loses at Backlash they're able to keep his momentum going because he's a special talent.
He's still gotta improve his mic work. also his character is retarded. lol at an Indian complaining about racism when his country is one of the most racist and intolerant places.
