I mean, Seriously ?

A Japenese guy who was #3 wrestler in New Japan, they brought him to NXT & put the title on him. It was ok until people started saying he'll definitely become WWE Champion. U just f'n kidding me ¿

There are plans for WM34 Nak v AJ & I THINK its going to be for US Title & NOT for WWE Title coz there is some trend these days in WWE that almost every foreigner becomes US Champion (except of Irish) & then remains in mid card for life.

Just my opinion, What do u think ?

Hope this wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man doesn't tbh :shrug
:HA

As much as I love Nak I gotta admit, that comparison did make me laugh.

:clap

As for the OP I hope he becomes champ, and with a brand extension there's really no reason for him not to become champ. He's the most unique and one of the most charasmatic guys in wrestling right now. It would be a damn, damn, shame if WWE just dropped him in the midcard and left him there.

Again when it comes to him being world champ I hope so, but WWE's history with foriegn wrestlers isn't exactly stellar and I've learned not to count my champs before they hatch... i mean chicks... ive learned not to count my chicks before they hatch...

I'd rather have Nakamura as champ than that soft midget balor.

The one thing Im most disappointed about with about Nakamura is how his English has barely improved since he got to NXT. You would think he would have been working very hard on it every day, because that is key to his success on the main roster. There is no longevity to the way he is cutting promos now.

If he ever wants to be taken serious at the top of the card and be involved in big time feuds against the likes of Cena, Orton, etc; he is gonna have to be able to cut 15 minute long back and forth promos. I dont see him being able to do that at all with his current level of promo skill.

I think his limited English could work in his favour. Less expectations to cut long promos means less garbage lines being fed to him. If anyone can maintain their popularity with minimal speaking it's Nakamura. The writers will try to work around his limited English when it comes to his segments so it shouldn't hinder him too much, at least while he's on Smackdown.

His videos on Youtube are getting crazy amounts of views, if those metrics matter so much, he'll be WWE champ in no time :lmao

In all seriousness, Nakamura has everything apart from the fact that he isn't a natural English speaker, i'll be surprised if he doesn't get his hands on the belt eventually.

When the fuck are people gonna stop using this unironically?
:lmao Much like "vanilla midgets", using the phrase "IWC" IN the IWC should've been dead and buried years ago.

Anyways, Nakamura is one of the best wrestlers on the planet even at his age and is the most charismatic guy on the roster. They'd be dumb to not put in the Championship picture.

Re: IWC Honestly thinks Nakamura ever become WWE Champion ?

One would think Vince would make him WWE champ at one point because he's Japanese and that would attract a new market in the same way if Jinder became WWE champ would. But nah, you know because the smarks would know what Vince is thinking and just because he's Japanese he won't be WWE champ.

Nakamura is one of the top talent in the WORLD. Look at how Vince made Styles the face of SDL and went over Cena in the most CLEAN way possible. Nakamura WILL be champion and if you say he won't you're either a smark or obviously an idiot because from an objective POV he WILL be one.

I mean jesus fuck, look at his debut on SDL, the crowd ERUPTED. Even more so than Hardy's re-debut at WM.

I didn't believe it but Meltzer said they see him as the replacement for Cena on SmackDown, and he's rarely wrong when it comes to WWE plans. Couple that with the fact of how over he is and yeah, he'll get it. I still fully have to wrap my head around that but it will happen.

And yes, even though there's never been a Japanese WWE Champion, there's also been nobody from Japan who reasonably could've been. I mean until Khali won the title, we would've said the same thing about India. It's not like England where they've had Barrett, Neville, Bulldog, etc, all these guys that could've reasonably had world title reigns if they were booked right and Vince just wouldn't do it. It's been all little guys like Taka or guys with no charisma. Nakamura is also fortunate to be in an era where workrate is placed just below look and talking is placed dead last on the priorities list.

At the end of the day it comes down to what Vince thinks. Will he put the main title on a guy whose English isn’t the best and someone he didn’t create.

I say if Nakamrua can keep up these rockstar reactions he’s been getting and deliver in the ring, I think there is a good chance of it. Do I see him as the champion or challenging for the championship going into Mania or anything? No but I could still see him as the champ before or after Mania.

Re: IWC Honestly thinks Nakamura ever become WWE Champion ?

He needs a manager like Heyman to talk for him and cut promos but yes he I can definetly see him as a future champ especially since Seth, KO, Dean, Balor, Styles and Wyatt have all been champs within the last couple of years.

They'll probaly even hype it up as him being the first japanese WWE champ.

If Samoa Joe can get over he will be champ on Raw within the next year or two. They only person I dont see getting there anytime soon is Sami Zayn and Ceasaro I kinda think his time has passed. Maybe Ceasaro will get the "Mark Henry" title win years later.

Putting the belt on the most charismatic guy in the company? WHO JUST SO HAPPENS TO BE JAPANESE? The nerve of them!

:maury It's going to happen, even if it's short-term it will happen.

It's going to happen and better sooner than later. This man can ignite a crowd without being able to speak great English. When he speaks it's a big fucking deal. It makes his character unique, imo. What he has is working. He doesn't need a manager. If he can get it done with body language, that's all that matters. No one in their right mind can question his in ring abilities. He has a great look. Outside of AJ there's no one on the SD roster I'd rather be champ.
