Or will Orton and AJ Styles battle it out for the no.1 contender? and Styles will maybe lose and blame Shane? What's gonna happen here?

Removing AJ from the match just to face freaking Shane would be incredibly idiotic on WWE's part. Not that they won't do it mind you, they most likely will. But AJ vs. Bray vs. Randy for the title would be a FAR better match, and I'm sure that most fans would be far more interested in seeing it.

Also they'd have just killed Harper's babyface momentum for no good reason as well, so it'd be doubly stupid.

Re: Styles is still going to fight Shane at Mania

Honestly I think they changed their minds or purposely leaked the Styles vs Shane to make everyone think that's the direction they were going in....This storyline is set up for Harper vs Shane

How so? Because Harper kicked Shane by accident? Look up "red herring."

Yeah, don't know why people are so naive as to think Styles will actually be in the triple threat match considering they literally just planted the seeds for him vs Shane on last night's Smackdown. We've got, what, six or seven more Smackdown episodes to go before Mania? I agree they'll probably have Orton defeat Styles next week to solidify his sole #1 contendership.

And lol @ Harper vs Shane. Harper has literally zero reason to go after Shane. He was the one who restarted the match when Luke's foot was on the rope, and then Harper more or less lost clean to Styles afterwards anyway.
Four episodes, brah. Wrestlemania is coming quicker than you think.

Chris Benoit had no history with Trips or HBK, but that made the storyline all the more interesting at WM20. He'll be the overlooked XFactor If history repeats itself, we'll see AJ walk out champion at Mania to 100,000 people chanting "You Deserve It " and Bray and Randy can continue their personal feud without a title

Also, Harper would be a much more palatable opponent for Shane. He's great and all, but he did miss almost the entire year. Also if they pull this, don't expect Shane to be the babyface during that match.

Really don't see they can pull Styles from the Wrestlemania main event, or give him another match to go through. He never got a one on one rematch to begin with, he wrestled and was cowinners of a battle royal involving the top 10 superstars on smackdown including Cena, and then beat Luke Harper twice. He's earned his spot. I'm not saying he should be in the match, but from a kayfabe perspective this match should be set in stone.

I do love the WWE's mindset "he's clearly a face and he's clearly a heel because we say so" yet continually do shit like this :lol. Over the last year especially it's become increasingly easier to sympathize with the heels in a lot of storylines

-Enzo tries it on Rusev's wife yet Rusev is the bad guy for wanting to attack Enzo?

-Bryan continually belittled Miz to an almost bullying level and yet Miz is the bad guy despite doing everything Bryan wanted and in return kept getting thrown shit? (Good thing Miz is a GODLY heel and played this role beautifully)

-The New day gang up on guys all the damn time (i.e. Titus)

-Joe got made to jump through hoops by Regal and yet Nakamura was just handed a NXT title shot yet was vilified for feeling aggrieved

It's quite hilarious.

This whole thing has been a mess. If WWE dont want AJ in there, the smart thing to do would be not to give him the win. If they dont want Harper, the smart thing to do would be to not give it to him, they just wasnt to continue AJ/Shane and Bray/Orton, the msart thing to do would be to not go with this whole thing.

This whole build has been a mess.

Styles is still going to fight Shane at Mania

Now that Orton is saying that he is going to fight Bray at WrestleMania for the title, What I believe is going to happen on next weeks smackdown is that Orton will take on Styles for the right to fight for the WWE title at Mania and Orton is going to beat Styles and then AJ will be mad and call out Shane and they will go back and forth and boom...Styles Vs Shane at WM.

Which is still sad giving the fact that Styles will have to waste another WM and do not get me wrong, Styles Vs Jericho at last years WM was great and all, but it did not really help styles in any way with his Career in WWE at the moment. ( And the match they had before at Fastlane was better anyway)

Styles should have been main eventing WM with a Heel Orton as WWE Champion...Which means a Face turn for Styles...Atleast that is how i would have done it...

Re: Styles is still going to fight Shane at Mania

Orton vs Wyatt is an insanely good storyline right now. But I can see the match really flopping like Orton vs HHH at WM25, which had a similarly great story.

Orton vs Wyatt at No Mercy was garbage.

Adding AJ in there at least ensures the match will be entertaining. But the story as of right now doesnt really make sense with him in there. So Im still leaning towards AJ VS Shane.

My guess is this is a little swerve to pad out the Wyatt vs Orton feud going into Mania. The match will not be a 3 way.

Instead I think we'll get the match we should have had at Mania for free on Smackdown. Being AJ vs Orton obviously.

Orton wins. AJ is pissed since he shouldn't have had to face Orton anyway, which he'd be correct, and blame Shane. Thus leading to their match.

In any case, this is stupid fucking booking. Stupid. How the fuck do you give up something freely and just get it back by asking? At least in this context? Kayfade, no promoter would give Orton his title shot back. They'd either say fuck you, or they'd make him wait until after Mania.

I think they made it very obvious that it's going to be Orton/Wyatt.

Orton is back in the fold and as he actually EARNED the match by winning the Rumble, he gets his shot. They can't do a triple threat as it isn't fair on Orton so they'll do Orton vs. AJ Styles.

How they book that match though, I have no idea. I don't know whether Wyatt comes out and COSTS Styles the match so he can get Orton all to himself (which then leads to a potential Wyatt/Styles feud in future) or Orton just beats him with an RKO out of nowhere from a flying forearm after a hard battle.

This is a very interesting idea, it gives the necessary animosity for a future feud with Styles, but I think it would make Styles going after Shane a bit contrived. Like, why are you angry with Shane when it's Wyatt fault if you lost?

It could be solved by having Styles win unclean, Shane restarting the match and Wyatt interfering to cost him the match, but they'd make the same booking twice in a short span of time.

I'd be cool with a triple threat match, or even adding Harper to make it a fatal fourway. But I'm pretty sure it won't end up that way.

I really don't see the appeal with doing AJ vs Shane unless it was some No DQ type match, because that's the only environment in which Shane can entertain as the stunt performer that he is. That's not meant as a knock at Shane; it's simply his biggest strength and what he's known for.

That being said, I can recognize that there's really no one else on the Smackdown roster that AJ could be paired with at Mania without it being a lower-card match. Styles is essentially facing his boss, and that's undoubtedly a key angle going into the biggest show of the year. Besides, I'm pretty confident that AJ will win anyway.

Any way that they arrive at the Shane vs AJ match isn't very sound logic, but that's usually the case with this company's creative team.

And for the love of God, PLEASE don't kill the allure of future Orton/Styles big time match by wasting it on an episode of Smackdown!

They also didn't really do Harper any favors with his growing momentum by being pinned by Styles twice, either.

Not surewhy they don't just go Wyatt v Styles V Orton wm. In terms of story though. It's too personal between Orton Wyatt now. Maybe Paige returns as Sister Abigail. I survived!! Hahaha. Im thinking it we'll be Orton V Bray at mania. Shane v AJ set. Wyatt drops the belt to Orton. Styles Orton feud after Mania.
