But I honestly think her second reign is going to be short. Either Naomi wins it again in her hometown (and Wrestling Forum loses their shit again) or call me crazy, Ellsworth helps his "bae", Carmella, dethrone Bliss. Either way I got my popcorn ready.
You don't have to be sorry, it's wrestling, the title gets passed around often. We all know the logical thing to do would be to let Naomi go into WrestleMania so she could win it back in her hometown.
Don't really think Alexa fans have any reasons to be overly insecure tbh, even if she will lose her title soon. She's young, marketable, doesn't seem to be the type to often get into trouble and is still developing. Seems to me she's got a bright future ahead of her.
They really can't take her losing though. Half of them only gave her first loss a pass because "Naomi only won because of black history month" and the usually " it's ok if she losses on tv just make win ppvs"
I think this just leads to Naomi winning the title at Mania. It gives her the time for her knee to heal and then creates a memorable moment for Orlando. I don't know why this needs to be apologized for. It's pro wrestling it's staged and scripted. If people can't take someone losing a title or a match or whatever then that's their own problem.
I was actually hoping for a decent run for Naomi in the first place. I think she is still an unknown commodity as she is realistically a product of a different era in WWE. She didn't have the benefit of being trained by Sara Amato and a host of guest trainers. Nor was their the type of onus put on the in ring aspect of it when she came through. This was a Kelly Kelly, Aksana, and Cameron type of system Naomi came up through. She could get a chance to either improve or maybe show that she isn't as awful as people seem to think. Her timing issues can be resolved. IMO that is her biggest problem. She isn't Bayley bad on the mic and is wildly athletic, she's also attractive so I don't see any negatives to giving her a shot.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, she's the best all around women wrestler on both rosters. The true Queen.
Charlotte on the other hand gets all these title wins handed to her because she's the daughter of Ric Flair and they want her to have 16 reigns or whatever.
Ric got his 16 reigns in 40 something years, charlotte is gonna get it in two years.
How can I respect that? No good ugly dude looking chick and they call her the Queen :mj4
Alexa is really green, she may have above average mic skills but her ring work is still really green, i'd have nattie take the title to mania and cement her heel run, her mic skills are good enough and her ring work is far above anyone on the roster. If Nattie is motivated for the program like she is with Nikki, which she should be motivated because she has the title, she's the best female wrestler on the roster
It is what it is. Don't have to apologize. Didn't really expect them to have Naomi relinquish it, but I'll take the belt being back around her waist for at least a little bit. I hope either Becky or Naomi get their moment and take it at Mania personally.
Clearly Naomi is the logical choice with the way things are developing. She never lost the title and such. Becky doesn't logically fit into the title picture right now. She has continually lost to Alexa and is currently entangled with Mickie. I'm not saying that thing couldn't change just as of now it would take a colossal shift in booking directions.
This thread is ridiculous and prove that bliss fans get triggered for the smallest reasons. Apparently if you call her out on average mics skills you are trying to argue your opinion, and you are looking for a reason to hate.
Nope my standards since the new generation era just haven't fallen.
No need to apologize, Alexa gets to roll into Wrestlemania (preshowww!!!) as champ, and hopefully get a lot of the PR and press that goes along with being a champion heading into Mania, where she loses the title to a healthy Naomi in some form of a multi-woman match . I see nothing wrong with that.
Alexa has an extremely bright future ahead of her if she wants it, so again there is no need to apologize.
Charlotte's first reign was 309 days. I know that some choose to split that in two since the title was renamed, but the bottom line is that from the moment she won her first title it was 309 days until she was defeated for it. At this pace Alexa could have three or four reigns in the same amount of time. I wonder what her marks excuses will be when they are having to eat their words and simply realize that this era of Women's wrestling is going to involve short reigns and that they can't scream their "She's a Flair and gets everything handed to her" war cry because their criticism is applicable to their fav too.
I don't dislike Alexa, but I don't understand why they don't put the title on Mickie. Alexa has a great future ahead of her, but Mickie is a legend and is the most well rounded talent out of all the women. Yes, I still have her over Charlotte at this point. No one else is even close, imo. By wrestler standards she's not old.
Wow some people here just need to shoot whoever's getting popular don't they ?
Bliss had a great run on the main roster so far, it doesn't matter, she's already a well established part of the Smackdown roster and one of the best female talents in the compan. Also a two times champion.
I applaud her for going after the fans like that. Most talent are probably unable to do that because it would make them forget their lines for the promo.
I really do not see the purpose of either of those outcomes.
For a five year main roster vet, Naomi is not terribly impressive. I mean, if one thinks the E jumped the gun with Alexa, putting the belt on a half decade vet that is still struggling really doesn't add up.
I like Carmella, but her becoming champion soon would be completely out of left field.
Just get and keep it between
, :becky,
for now.
Those are your blue chippers on the SD brand. Either via history, potential, or both. I would not mind a three way there. (Get your minds out of the gutter.) :bige
Even if she doesn't have it long she is now a 2x Women's champ and that cannot be taken away from her.
I still think it should only be passed on when there is someone READY to take the title to the next level, at this moment in time there is nobody on the SD roster i'd trust to do that. Becky is the closest thing in the ring but her voice is like claws to a chalkboard.
Bliss is going to be a mainstay of the division for years to come. Her promo and character work is already top notch, and she continues to improve in the ring week by week.
I kinda don't think her fans are going to lose any sleep over a short title reign.
The gaul of them to even speak those words again
:HA
Well hey look on the bright side OP, if it was the Raw Women's title it would have changed hands while you were writing your post!
