Alexa attacked Becky and tried to use her finisher on her first before Becky countered and tried to end the match right there and then. That's not dumb, it was the only option she had at that point.
Everytime Alexa gets the upper hand on Becky it's either through cheating, attacks from behind, rake to the eye etc...
Becky deserves to stand tall on more occasions, but everytime Alexa has got the upper hand, Becky has been protected. It's not like Becky is losing clean to Alexa or getting beat down in a face to face confrontation.
Becky's booking could be better, but there's many superstars who are currently getting booked far worse than her.
Has she won a single major feud on the main roster yet? Heck they couldn't even let her win her big PPV match with Natalya (at Battleground). Not only did she lose, she tapped out clean. And she's been booked like a chump and a loser for like 98% of this feud.
She's the reverse Charlotte at this point. They won't let Charlotte lose in the big moments, and make the entire Raw Women's roster look bad just to build her up. Becky is never allowed to WIN in the big moments, and is made to look bad in order to build the rest of the division up.
It looks like they may do a repeat of the Mickie/Trish angle from back in the day. Mickie was looking at her in a slightly sexual manner in my opinion. Could be interesting or it could be complete shit. I guess we'll find out soon.
She turned her attention to Alexa because Alexa, her opponent, attacker her from behind and she was trying to win the match. She turns her attention to Mickie, Alexa escapes. That much is simple.
Now the way Mickie interfered was dumb and lazy IMO but that is besides the point.
They are trying to kill Becky as best they can without receiving Backlash. It's pretty obvious at this stage. WWE don't want anyone upstaging their chosen pet projects. This has been the case for a very long time.
There was absolutely no good reason for Becky to be pinned by Alexa's DDT last night when Alexa could've walked out herself.
They want to discourage Becky's fanbase as best they can without causing an uproar for burying her.
Also the top rope Bexplex shouldn't be a move Alexa kicks out from easily.

No one ever sell Becky's move. Her move set and finisher are the least protected of all the women.
I recall Becky Suplexing Charlotte from the top rope at WM32 and charlotte just shrugged it off like it was nothing.
Only thing that makes Becky look like an idiot and weak is her complaining about Alexa eye raking her in the tables match and having Mickie run in during the cage match. Both matches are No DQ. Yes I get that she is a babyface and babyfaces are always gonna call out heels for cheating but the problem with that is in those matches it was fair.
Becky hasn't gotten her "big clean" win ONCE since she's been on the main roster. She hasn't won a single freaking feud or hardly any big matches since she got there. So I'll believe it when I see it because WWE has given me no reason at all to trust them here.
Also I completely reject the notion that babyfaces have to look like naïve idiots in order to be "good." "Good" doesn't equal "stupid and clueless." Having your fighting babyface CONSTANTLY falling for the same tricks over and over and over and over again, or never having a counter to interference not matter times it happens, doesn't make them more "likeable." It just makes them look stupid.
WWE wonders why the fans cheer heels most of the time these days, it's crap like this. WWE doesn't know how to write/book babyfaces to save their lives.
Also this just shows how idiotic that finish in Glasgow was. "Hey lets have our HEEL be the one who gets screwed over," stupid, REALLY stupid.
Unfortunately this whole angle has been odd at best, bad for becky mostly.
They're gonna need a really good reason for Mickie to be with Alexa. Likely some sort of mentor ship thing?
But yeah, Becky already looked terrible letting Alexa "lose" by countout in the title rematch, and now knowing that there would obviously be interference, turned her back EVEN AFTER James showed herself
Plus the refs looked extra stupid just letting an outsider jump in. I mean there's always intereference but usually you gotta beat up a ref or two to get in. Here the refs were just . . . impotent
OP have you not watched Becky's whole run on the roster? This is nothing new. Becky has lost to every dirty tactic in the book, but keeps doing nothing about it. She's a pushover and it's sad
People overreact on such little things...she is the fact of the SD division, she just carried Alexa Bliss (who I love but she needs alot of work) to some passable-good matches, she was the first SD women's champ, she does media appearances a ton, she just lost a feud where she was never beaten once cleanly, she is about to feud with Mickie James in Wrestlemania season, she just main evented smackdown for the first time by women, she was in a rare women's steel cage, she is likely going to be going for the title or in a match with Mickie James at Wrestlemania. So she isn't the brightest bulb in the bunch but can we chill out and stop acting like she is doomed or in a horrible position.
The cage match ended in THE most predictable way possible (although it was probably the best Becky vs. Alexa match to date). Like everyone called that. A cage once again proves absolutely useless in preventing interference, and Becky looks like a loser in a big match yet again (if she's out of the title picture now, I'm going to be REALLY annoyed because it's such bullcrap). She hasn't won a single major feud on the main roster.
Also they'd better have a REALLY good explanation for why Mickie is attacking Becky, because it doesn't make any sense right now. Her attacking either Alexa or Nikki would make far more sense.
It's like watching Charlotte vs Sasha in a way minus the hot potato and not a lot of ppv bouts. Becky wins matches that aren't that big, yet Alexa is. Still, Alexa actually cheats or people interfere on her behalf to screw Becky over, so, I don't think she's totally weak.
Hopefully, Becky will actually go over Mickie and will shine in a major feud for once.
As opposed to all of the other times that she's lost big matches/been screwed over? Nope not buying it this time, WWE hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt here. Heck they had her cut that fiery promo on the go-home show before TLC, even calling Alexa a ***** and vowing revenge. And then, she STILL lost the match, the title, and has been consistently outmaneuvered ever since.
Unfortunately, I could totally see WWE not wanting to have Mickie lose her first feud back in the company. And that's no disrespect to Mickie intended, she's awesome. But she's 37 years old. So if they cannot have Becky win a feud against her, then when will she win one?
I mean, Mickie could win a bunch of matches against other women in the company before feuding with Becky so it re-establishes her.
But yeah, I don't really get Becky's booking, unless they are going to have her do the long chase back to the title by having to go through both Mickie and Alexa (if she still holds the title down the line). Because she does work as a great underdog babyface.
But yeah, they really should let her win a larger feud eventually, because it's going to hurt her stock in the long run and that isn't great considering she should be one of the more featured and over women on the show. I don't want her to be booked like Charlotte has and go overboard with it, but she loses far too much and even with all the protection she got in this loss and others, there is so many times you can lose and still be over.
Alot of people on here don't understand booking, Their is a youtube video that explains the basics of inside the business, It puts you behind the scenes and shows you the ins and outs of how things work behind the curtain, if you don't want to watch it then I can just quickly explain it
Talent don't book the matches, It's all scripted, it amazes me in 2017 people still struggle with this
There are so many holes in WWE storytelling that I often don't notice them.
It would have been better if she puts the finisher on while facing La Luchadora then gets kicked in the face a few times before breaking the hold. But it's 2 on 1 she's kinda screwed what ever she does.
Typical babyface behaviour. No wonder people cheer for heels.
