Less talking and more kicking asses. Even through it toke someone like Ellsworth to finally push ambrose over like that, It is still pretty cool to see him like that. And now, I believe everyone on this site would want to see ambrose just flat out murder ellsworth next week after he lost the IC title match because of him..

I for one...Can not wait...

1 step forward 12 backward. Just wait and see. They will have do comedy skits with Ellsworth by the end of the month

Honestly, I'd say they already took a few steps back last night. He started the night on fire and got a genuinely hot reception that was almost reminiscent of two years ago. Objectively outpopped AJ for the first time since their feud began in September. Then he only gave Ellsworth a single DD and skipped to the backstage looking satisfied instead of decimating him after AJ put him over as a relentless, sadistic monster when pissed. He then let Miz down talk him and the segment actually went over on Miz's favor as a result given fans mocked him with the Participation Trophy after it became evident he wasn't going to lay a hand on Miz and he was still tied to Ellsworth. It's possible they were applauding his effort from TLC too, but they were also certaintly mocking him.

They're trying to straddle a line when the reality is heelish, no nonsense Ambrose is the only way he gets over as top face. The longer they hold back and the longer theu keep him saddled with Ellsworth, the bigger the hole he has to climb out of.

He was great. Got a fantastic reaction from the crowd last night too.

My only complaint was he let Ellsworth off too easy, one dirty deeds, come on.. the guy purposefully cost you the WWE Title.

Hopefully next week he beats him up a lot more.

Yeah I found that really weird. AJ talked about how sadistic Dean was and how he would never stop...then Dean just hits one DDT and leaves. While the week prior AJ beat the shit out of James culminating in that beautiful Styles Clash. There was clearly a disconnect between whoever wrote AJ's promo and whoever mapped out Deans actions in that segment.

He's all over the place and not in a lunatic way, just in a pure bad writing way. It's like some weeks it's a guy in a Dean costume. There's so much inconsistency in how he acts, especially in relation to how he's described by other wrestlers and the commentators. They're trying to have Dean fill two different roles at once.

They tried give him a lot of comedy segments and i never laughed.

Then during that "entrance + dirty deeds" segment i was laughing and thought "Hey, that was kinda badass!".

I feel like there isn't anything to complain about for that first segment. Ambrose looked like a badass with just that one dirty deeds. I took it as a warning shot for Ellsworth.

I was hoping for him to dirty deeds the Miz on Miz tV after the participation award and walk off.

Then, maybe someone in the main event. Maybe the ref for not paying attention and then walking off.

Less talking? One of Dean's greatest assets is his mic work, I don't want him to talk less lol.

But I liked the opening segment :shrug I thought it was clever. No nonsense, no bullshit, just get in there, hit Dirty Deeds, leave. (AJ's reaction to it was a good bonus lol)

Crowd was odd - why cheer Dean in the opening segment, then mock him later on?

I'm still reckoning Dean will ruin Ellsworth's title match when it happens and beat the shit out of him though.

Because it was an opportunity for them to be clever. Miz planted the "you deserve it" seed and the crowd bit.

I think there is a pretty easy way to move Ambrose into his WM feud. He absolutely murders Ellsworth during the world title match. Ellsworths wins by DQ, now 4-0 against Styles. Next week Shane calls out Ambrose saying that he cannot just attack people. Ambrose hits Shane with DD and it is on like donkey kong. It´s a very easy and logical storyline to write and can make for a lot of great segments.

That's what I was thinking about. How great would it be if Ambrose faces Ellsworth at RR, and the whole match is just Ambrose coming up with new and innovative ways of hitting Ellsworth with Dirty Deeds until he decides to end it and retire him. A straight up massacre.

You don't really see that in WWE today. Even the pure jobber matches(see: Strowman) only last about 30-60 seconds. Watching Ambrose hit Ellsworth with about 15-20 DD's over the course of 10 minutes would be glorious.

The Dean Ambrose I wanted died a long time ago in the lobby of a WM event, I believe WM 28 don't quote me on that it may have been WM 27. However, there was some footage that leaked out with Mick Foley having a confrontation with Dean Ambrose. What Ambrose said to him was brilliant. It needs to be said again, live on Raw, but the WWE don't have balls to actually showcase their talent in a way that shines their greatest attributes.

The man who portrays Dean Ambrose each week is a natural at playing the heel character. Johnathan Good aka Dean Ambrose made his name at hardcore matches and ultimately playing the heel role and delivering strong mic work. He wasn't some Indie "baby face" star. The Dean Ambrose I have yet to see is somewhere in that "PC Dome" of a mess they call a company. He should be the top heel on SD alongside Bray Wyatt. Not just top heels, but legit heels. The kind that are great villains to your top star. Wyatt and Ambrose are like Joker and Mr. Sinister, true villains.

Too bad the WWE dont have the "grapefruits" to actually let Ambrose and Wyatt be true villains. I say it now but I beleive if Wyatt and Ambrose were unlocked from their chains, they would be the most amazing characters in WWE today and I dont think anyone could touch them.

Why would you want him to talk less? It's one of his biggest assets. Talk differently and be more aggressive? Yes. But less? No.

I think he needs to back up his talking more with offense like we saw and obviously have better booking, too.
