Does Vince McMahon HATE SMACKDOWN?

Honestly, I had high hopes for SD beating Raw, but its very clear Raw won with the draft picks. I do not understand why Vince wants SD to be the B show all the time. He owns both BRANDS!!! Most of the fan favs are on SD and the WOMEN'S TITLE IS ON RAW! So what will the women on SD be doing? Its clear that Bayley will be drafted to Raw since she could be the mystery partner for Sasha at Battleground. I had high hopes for SD beating Raw but Vince really does hates SMACKDOWN :(

Re: Does Vince Mcmahon HATE SMACKDOWN?

Yep. Smackdown started strong, but RAW just took over.

When RAW took a large portion of the upper card in Rusev, Cesaro, and Owens. That was the nail in the coffin. SD should've gotten one of them.
I can still see Kalisto getting traded for Cesaro, that would make sense. Kalisto needs to be in the CW division.

After tonight where Cesaro jobbed to Jericho for the 5th time, and Owens/Sami were used as fodder for fucking Kane in 2016, I think it shows how WWE (Vince) feels about them. Fucking shame too, because Cesaro on SD getting a real push with real mic time, would of done wonders for his career imo.
Agreed Owens and Cesero should have been on SD. Its so dumb they were not

I'm not seeing it. And "RAW got all of the upper mid-card"? What is the point of this industry if there isn't stars being made? SmackDown will be fine with what it got and it will make it's own new stars. They got Apollo and Baron. That is a good start.
RAW has Lesnar and the women's title and probably Bayley

Smackdown roster with 2 hours and Ranallo absolutely shits on Raw's.

They don't need the numbers that Raw does. Its only 2 hours. I mean...Your main event and mid card is...

Styles
Cena
Orton
Bray
Ambrose
ADR
Miz
Ziggler
Corbin

Maybe some tag teams break up like the Hype Bros. Then you have Rawley and Ryder in the mid card.

The tag team division looks great, and I'm confident that they will actually use The Ascension correctly. Will take some time to repair the damage done to them by Vince.

American Alpha
The Ascension
Hype Bros
Usos
Vaudvillains
Breezango(entertaining as fuck lately)

The women is what I'm most excited about. I don't like Sasha. Find her boring. Didn't want Charlotte. Becky is the most talented woman on the roster. I also think Bayley goes to Smackdown after debuting to help Sasha at Battleground.

Becky Lynch
Carmella
Alexa Bliss
Naomi
Natalya
Eva Marie(sucks)

That is some new and exciting match ups that we haven't seen. 2 hours, less filler, Ranallo making everything seem more important with his majestic voice, and no Reigns? Raw can have their Cesaro, Jericho, Owens, Zayn circle jerk for a ladder. I love this Smackdown roster.

Smackdown got fucked so hard on star power but that might be a good thing because they went for potential and have no choice but to turn that potential into stardom.

Wyatt will be a SD main eventer

American Alpha as a tag team won't have much to do but splitting them up you have potentially 2 huge stars.

Corbin can be a big deal.

Becky has her own division now, so no more jobbing. With Carmella and Alexa to round it out.

Everybody else will be there to help develop and put over these key players.

Of course he does, he proved this back when Heyman was the head writer of SmackDown! and beat RAW for 4 or 5 months in a row in the ratings and what did he get for his hard work? Fired. Vince McMahon is an insufferable fulfilling senile twat.

Orton is a part timer, or will be soon. Cena reportedly taking a lighter touring schedule, while simultaneously increasing his outside-the-wwe appearances, which points to him possibly slowly being on the way out. AJ is new to wwe and dedicated as hell, but no spring chicken himself.

That's three of smackdown's big 4, all conceivably there to revolve the show around them and all conceivably part timers or gone within a couple years (AJ least likely of the three). That leaves Ambrose (assuming they don't take the title off him for one of the aforementioned 3 and revert to wacky Schtick booking with him) and Wyatt (now on his own due to losing his kids in the divorce, not that he's been booked strongly in over a year even with them) as your plays for the future, because your midcard is AWFUL (Corbin still needs polishing and to learn how to speak convincingly, and Smiley McBlackGuy has the personality of a bathmat). You have one tag team of note that people like in American Alpha, one team that people are bored with and actively turning on in the Usos, and a pair of absolute dumpster fires in the Shining Stars and the Ascension (don't tell me they can be salvaged, they were terrible in NXT too, just with less makeup). Your women's division is one beloved face, one newly minted heel with no personality, a woman with glowing shoes and ass-based offense, two rookies (one with a derivative gimmick of a team on Raw, and one the commentary team is already calling "tiny"), and Eva Marie (who will be pushed despite being greener than guacamole shits).

But nah, stars of the future.

The idea that SmackDown got fucked is so ridiculous. Raw got the top heel, a top star who's never going to be there, a top babyface who has utterly failed in every attempt to become a top face and isn't considered a top star by the fans, the women's champion who is a niche act and not a good one at that (that's a throwaway pick as far as I'm concerned), and a guy from NXT who hasn't done anything yet. Granted, he's going to get a super push, but in terms of a pick, a guy who hasn't been on the roster cannot be considered a great pick.

SmackDown on the other hand got the actual top face in the company, the current champion, who is the most popular wrestler in the company right now, a 12 time world champion who's been pushed harder than just about everybody, and AJ Styles, who is basically in the spot that Seth Rollins was in before he won the title a year ago, and will be champion within the next 3 months almost assuredly. Not to mention, SmackDown has Daniel Bryan on their brand, who regardless of just being a GM is the most popular figure in professional wrestling since The Rock. The only way that SmackDown got fucked is with the women, and they don't matter.

Why wouldn't he? Raw is his baby and the name Smackdown! only reminds him of someone who left him for hollywood...

I like Smackdown roster better. RAW main event scene is weak after Rollins/Reigns. The flagship show is going to have main event matches of Reigns vs Owens/Jericho or Rollins vs Zayn/Big Show? Smackdown main event scene is much better. While they have enough in the mid card with Del Rio, Miz, Ziggler, Kane, Corbin and Kalisto and Crews. Smackdown Woman and Tag division is weak. But it has potential to be decent with young talent. Overall Smackdown should put on a better show in two hours.

After last night, I now believe Vince is pure evil. To start Smackdown's draft so strongly, to raise hope and expectations, only to completely destroy and humiliate them after that takes a very sick mind. If Smackdown was a superstar they would have joined the Kiss My Ass club a long time ago.

Same level of main event? Rollins, Reigns, and.................Who? Not Lesnar as he is never on TV. Balor isn't going to start in the main event.

Compare that to Styles, Cena, Orton, Wyatt and Ambrose.

Also, Did Raw get the better roster for 3 hours? Or did Smackdown get a better roster for 2 hours? I think Smackdown crushed Raw personally.

I don't know about anyone else. But this is about PReferances and Sensiblities. I look at the Raw Roster, and nothing Appeals me. I look at SD. Wyatt, Ambrose, Styles, Cena, Alexa, Carmella, Becky. And to me SD got the best lot. I well def be watching SD over Raw. SD > RAW
