Very few people in the WWE can actually tell a story in the ring. Cesaro is one of those few people. His ring work is very similar to HHH when he first debuted in the WWE.

The thing with Aksana was she was just as bland as Cesaro is atm. Managers/valets need to help bring the best out in someone.

Like I mentioned in another Cesaro related thread, he needs someone with a colorful, charismatic personality to represent him for a while.

I'd love to see someone like Prince Nana be his manager. People need a reason to mark for Cesaro, and I guarantee, so enough they will if they play their cards right!

Hahaha. They are burying him now. He has no calilber.

He'll be jobbing to Miz next week.

Why would WWE want that no talent Davey Richards? Or half of them indy stars?

So far, his tenure in WWE has been pretty bland, not bad per-say, just not overly entertaining.
WWE has barely placed a toe in the water, metaphorically speaking, with regards to Cesaro's actual depth as a performer. They've kept most of his matches short and to the point, with the possible exception of that match he had against Zack Ryder at Night of Champions, which was something of a sleeper. They have yet to expand upon his character, either, although I suppose dumping Aksana is a start. He needs a few little tweaks to the character, given a greater chance to be more versatile with it. Since they insist on him being an ex-rugby player, he should badmouth the nearest NFL teams each week and say that there's no honor in American sports, yadda, yadda. At first it would seem like "cheap heat" but he's the perfect character to make it fairly seamless and pointed. Also bring in some actor to play an official of the Rugby League European Federation, who wants to sit down and talk with AJ and Booker T about how it's wrong to have this man in WWE because of his excessively violent tendencies. They've already planted the seed, why not formally introduce Chekhov's gun? Whenever Cesaro gets into a truly heated feud, fans will know in the back of their minds that he can flip and become terribly brutal at any given moment.

They aren't burying Clay at all. He had a solid win streak going for the time being, and his gimmick is certainly over with the young kids the WWE is looking to cater to at the moment with his character. They did the same thing with Hurricane, except he screwed himself out of getting a "brass ring" with the bullshit he was involved in while in the WWE. Clay from what I understand isn't that type of person. They need a large guy like him around, and many have been very impressed with how well he moves for his size.

You can't have Cesaro lose to this man. Antonio is the United States title holder. It doesn't make sense for him to just lose to Clay. A clean finish is exactly how it should have happened. Very rare these days you get a clean win by a heel, and I have been asking for this for a long time. Finally, it happens, and people bitch. No one thought Cesaro would cleanly defeat Clay, and he did. I happen to like being shocked, or the occasional solid booking moment. The amount of strength it took to pull that move off was impressive, and I think the crowds response proved that.

I'd have thought they hired SDR because she's talented myself. I'm glad that WWE have finally seen that the whole Rugby gimmick was dumb, though the five languages thing is only slightly better.

It doesn't matter Clay was just recently an undefeated face in his new gimmick, so its still a huge accomplishment in the viewers eyes.

Also, no one is saying Richards would be a MEer but he could still be servicable dean malenko type worker in the midcard which would add to the show.
