Basic move set doesn't = bad in ring. When The Shield finishes, he'll definitely be the most intriguing character

I think what they did was brilliant, they kept the two guys that will be pushed protected by not having rusev out there and barrett leaving. we already know the other guys aren't going anywhere.

maybe they could do the same with the wyatts, have them facing ziggler, Kingston, r-truth, woods, khali, ryder, santino, cody Rhodes, goldust, rey mysterio and sin cara

If you read this board you see people clamoring about Ambrose jumping over the couch to attack maddax and Rollins flips in the match. But, to fans other than those who are paying attention to Ambrose and Rollins and looking for their moments that whole night was Reigns getting his s**t in. That's what will come across to the vast majority of the people who saw smackdown or see the highlights of that show Roman dominating. In conclusion, on last night's show Roman's moments were front and center while, one would have to look and try and find Dean and Seth's moments as they were more hidden.

At the end of the night it was a bit overkill for me. Too much Shield and I enjoy midcarder heels more than them, in all honesty. A good Smackdown and I could certainly see why Shield marks would enjoy it, but the highlight for me was Zeb owning Heyman on the mic and a pretty decent fight from Swagger. A small, teeny bit of me hopes that after this situation on Smackdown and how Swagger was attacked by the Shield that he'll be booked as a face...I just got that vibe.

Yeah Swagger deserves better. I know on this board Cesaro gets a lot of love but Swagger is every bit as good in the ring as him and better on the mic. Also more importantly, Swagger has better size and look that Cesaro as well. I hate that Swagger got into his trouble with the law when he did because he was headed toward a World Title run again. Hopefully WWE gives him another shot to at least contend for the US Title.

I think a lot is hinging on this upcoming RAW and Extreme Rules. If they make Swagger look strong and have him somehow, even if just a fluke, go over someone at ER then he could potentially get his hands on a midcard title. If he shows the stirrings of a face turn or character shift, then that, too, can signal their intent on doing something of value with him.

This Smackdown left a lot of possibilities open, but I highly doubt the WWE will capitalize on it. Everyone in my house felt Swagger/Colter were coming off as good guys and sympathized with them, especially after the Shield attack. It could mean absolutely nothing and the WWE will continue on their path to making him a jobber, or it could be one piece of sequential pieces that mean change and maybe a midcard push for Swagger.

I liked the beat downs, reminded me of some old school wrestling segments. Would have liked to see Rollins and Ambrose get more spots though.

well I did pay attention to Rollins... and anyway I got the same impression that he and Ambrose were highly overshadowed by Reigns, with all that I like Reigns.

By the way, I really hope Evolution beats the hell out of them.

Those days were truly hell, I started thinking that Reigns marks were becoming worse than Punk or Bryan marks. Was almost a crime to think Seth and Dean should be getting more of a chance to shine rather than Reigns make them look so inferior lol.

Don't think it's a burial at all. They had the numbers advantage over everyone except in the end where it was a normal tag match that had 2 people walking out. The 11 on 3 they had on Raw a few months ago was more of a burial than this tbh.

And yeah 3MB has 3 people but they're jobbers lol.
Neither are a "burial". ... Aka the most misused word on this site.

11 guys beating down 3 stars to prove a point and advance a storyline isn't a burial.

Those 3 stars picking off those 11 guys the following show to get revenge isn't a burial.

It's just a pro wrestling angle. If the shield had gone over 11 guys on raw that would be a burial. If 3mb fought back and took out the shield that would be a burial.

Ambrose reinforced his character traits throughout the night... He was used correctly. Rollins probably could have done more, but he was getting the middle slot on the Shield graphic, and I believe he's stepping into a "leader" role in the group.

Obviously Reigns got the most action and came out looking the strongest. That's to be expected since he's going to get the biggest push of the 3.

I love The Shield. Such a classic group. So well booked. All so talented. They are must see every week along with the Wyatts, Evolution/Authority, Bryan, Cesaro, and a few others.

Regardless of the negativity on this site WWE is in a good position to entertain me for a while..... And they aren't going to "screw it up like they always do" Because talent is going make it work. They have the young up and coming talent that has every possible angle at their disposal because they are so new.
