haters gonna hate.

Wrestling with Rosenberg Ryback interview

I knew he was wearing RVD trunks!

He's a good guy, and a decent wrestler, and he's still fairly young. Some people need to stop being negative just for the sake of it.

That was a pretty good interview. Good to learn a bit more about him.

people arent negative for the sake of it.. they're negative because guys on the roster are trying to brag about their workouts when they're not natural, they're on anabolic steroids. if I was on gear i'd be pushing a lot more weight than I do when I train now.

Ryback is a walking wellness policy violation, and guys like him, Big E, Mason Ryan, etc. are proof that there actually is no real policy in effect, and many smaller guys are using anabolics too.

The trick is to not call it steroids. Or human growth hormone. Supplements is a nice word. If we call it that we'll be ok. The McMahons have had an eternal boner for bodybuilders. They've been in that business, promoted it, and created TV shows about it. They take guys like Rey and Eddie, who benefitted from not being weighed down by bulk, and bulking them up. And why? Muscles are money and muscle powered money is McMahon Viagra. If a wrestler dies in their 40's from it, it's all good because they're past their prime anyway. I'm sure most of the roid monkeys are nice guys, but roids and attitude don't make for good wrestling matches. Ryback should be working out an actual finishing move.

Ryback isn't weak. He was able to deliver the scoop-slam and spinebuster on Tensai easily. The only problem is that his finisher is so awkward, he goes from a suplex position into a fireman carryover.

He needs a finisher which is easier to perform on big guys. Perhaps something like Sheamus's white noise.

Yeah, he's got all this crazy power, there's so many better moves he could be using as a finisher. I'd even take another power bomb if he did a cool variation, like a splash mountain or a swing argentine bomb. If he's got the power for a military press, drop that into a death valley driver or michinoku driver.
