It's reverse psychology, they keep telling you he's going to cash in, hoping you come to the conclusion that you have done. When Big Show knocks Sheamus out, and Ziggler's music hits just like he promised, they want people to think exactly what you're thinking "Oh, they've made it SO OBVIOUS, something is gonna go wrong" So that when he actually pins him and wins the Title, it'll be an even bigger surprise than if he does the routine cash in out of the blue like everyone has done before him.
I highly doubt they've thought about this as much as you have.
Trust me, he'll win the Title on Sunday. I'm absolutely convinced he'll get the belt at Hell in a Cell, and then lose it either at the Rumble, or Elimination Chamber. There is no chance in hell, prime time 'jobber to the stars' Dolph Ziggler walks into Wrestlemania as Champion.
If prime time "jobber to the stars" Daniel Bryan can do it, I don't see why prime time "jobber to the stars" Dolph Ziggler can't. Let's be honest, they don't think the WHC even matters.
That's what happens at WrestleMania, put money on it. I don't think by then they'll even want Sheamus in a filler match like the WHC match. They'll probably just have Sheamus beat Punk after both lose the titles or something.

We can't believe that someone with your skin color has the level of education that you have, so your gimmick is just gonna be that we put you on tv and brag that you went to school. Cause that's basically the gimmick that they gave him, how much more racist could his gimmick have been? Am I missing something here? What was the reason that the people were supposed to get behind him, other than the company just saying "phht, well, he's...in school".
No, I think they're saving Orton's WHC title victory for Wrestlemania. He's my current pick to win the Royal Rumble next year unless the show changes. Orton's been held down for awhile, so something must be brewing for him as they've been basically wasting his talents for months.
I think he's been held down to be a more exciting winner later. He was pretty disliked last year (at least by some) for "always winning" due to that poorly booked, lopsided fued with Christian. His push seemed to completely stop (I won't say he got "buried" perse), so I could see it restarting soon, in the form of a Rumble win + a WM victory. Not sure who he'd face though, whether it's Ziggler or a Shemaus who regains the title at EC or whatever.
They were going to do this before Orton got caught with his drugs(and the reason why the ADR feud got extended), and a lot of people were actually hyped so I'm surprised with the response this thread is getting.
