Barrett fans are fucking blind. just accept that he will never accomplish anything in WWE because he's not good enough. The only reason he got pushed back in 2010 was because they had to fire Daniel Bryan, the real star of NXT Season 1 and nobody else could play the gang-leader or whatever. They will never trust Barrett in the main event again after those shit matches he was putting on.

Just accept it. Even Ryback is more of a star than Barrett.

Yeah, that wrestler needs a push to be relevant to fans, he fucking sucks. I know this board generally lacks a lot of logic but christ.

Bryan was the star of NXT Season 1? Then why didn't he win it? Why wasn't he the leader/orchestrator of the very Nexus debut then before he was fired? Barrett was the star as he was the best talent to lead the stable.

Look at the content of both of those feuds, absolute shit. It was clear they didn't know where to go with either storyline especially the Corre. Barrett proved with Nexus that if he's given a storyline with a direction and a storyline that writers put effort into making interesting, he can hit home runs.

I'll admit that the Corre story was designed to put over Big Zeke (another failure) but him feuding with Orton was supposed to put Barret over and he couldn't get any heat out of it.

There was nothing great about it... It was very boring and it main evented Smackdown once due to the Street Fight they had. Even when Randy got flung down a flight of stairs, no one cared. Orton vs Cody last year was very good though.

Yea, he was. But because they've completely destroyed the only way he could get over, it isn't going to work anymore. Honestly, he has the tools and capabilities but the fact of the matter is he can't do mic work because of his accent, it doesn't help, it sounds goofy and "weird". He can't find a good finisher, they're all shit, and he can't garner heat in matches by taunts because raising ONE FIST in the air after clotheslining someone isn't exactly a good taunt.

Even pre-injury Barrett was more over than Del Rio. Since he's come back, they haven't even given him a reason to be over and if they do, he will. I'll guarantee if you put the title on Barrett, he'll get more heat than Del Rio. Absolutely guaranteed.
I do actually agree. Del Rio can't really get heat and they've tried everything with him. Problem is though, Barrett wouldn't get much more either.

The only way he'd actually get over as a heel is if he talked shit about America and Americans, and how he is better than them, but it won't work because Sheamus is fucking Irish.

Just so you understand my stance on Barrett, I think he's great. I just think he doesn't suit American sports entertainment.

I'll admit, the current Barrett will never get over:

-Shitty theme (Barrett is a complete moron for a choosing a theme that doesn't fit his character)
-Shitty finisher( Fucking elbow lol).
-Shitty gimmick.

They should just bring back the old clean shaven Barrett, with his old theme and old finisher.

I have the feeling current Barret would get more over if he did the same shit he does now but squashing heels, after The Ryback early success at getting over maybe is a indication that crowds now want to cheer at badasses and that's big part of Barret's new gimmick.

No, Barrett should never be a face in any way shape or form. He's best at being a completely smug prick. Throw that in with his accent and the guy's a fucking Bond villain. That's a big part of the problem with current Barrett, they're not letting him talk.

He's literally the one guy - well, maybe Del Rio, too - that I never, ever want to see as a face. Ever.

I was just talking about reactions, I also prefer Barret as a heel.
