Maybe it's just because I'm new to this era of wrestling, but am I the only one disappointed in the match?

1) Predictable. Everyone thought it was just to showcase Cesaro's finishing move, and it was.
2) Cesaro undersold way too many of the big man's power moves.

To me Khali is not very exciting, but it seems like he was really trying to put on a show, his push was beginning to be interesting, and aside from Cesaro's amazing power the match was a let-down to me.

I LOVED the Wade/Kofi promo. Wade especially did a great job sounding like a badass. Kofi showed some good intensity.

Sheamus/Ziggler should be a good match

BTW: I would say that Main Event last night was an okay to decent show. Cesato/Khali was okay and the gauntlet was alright. Nice way to set up the Kofi/Barrett rematch on Smackdown tomorrow night.

I wish were there when Kofi did his Intercontinental Champion promo. I woulda screamed "MIDCARD 4 LIFE", because He's still fighting for that IC title lol.

Impressive skills of JTG, he managed to keep that du-rag on the whole match!

Cesaro vs Khali was good only for the finish. Cesaro didn't sell so well and Khali is Khali.

Barrett and Kofi had a great promo segment though, much better than the Miz and Cesaro's one. Kofi actually showed some life and intensity and Barrett finally got the chance to reinforce his gimmick.

I would have preferred that Barrett just won a three man gauntlet and then had Kofi jump him after the match. Just to show how much Kofi wants that title. And he didn't really need the win, he already has his rematch clause.

I don't think I've watched a single episode of Main Event since the very first one where Punk & Sheamus had that very good match. Decided to make my same NY resolution as I do every year where I plan to watch all pro-wrestling that I can get my hands on, again this year so it lead me to watching this weeks show.

As soon as I started watching, I remembered what I'd originally liked about the show the last time that I'd seen it. The fact that they give very good build up to their main event match, making it seem like a big deal and explaining the back stories of the characters involved and why the match is important to them.

I found it amusing how they're still punishing Natalya by making her compare Khali to Bret Hart. In fact, Khali's whole entourage was quite laughable, with Hornswoggle thrown in the mix too. The match itself was as expected, they went with a slow methodical pace and I have to say, I enjoyed it. Then again I'm a Cesaro mark. After the match Miz cutting that promo really made my eyes roll. The whole pro-US thing is so 1950's.

Then we had Barrett and Kofi continuing their feud, I found it strange how the heel champion voluntarily put himself up for a gauntlet match. Poor Yoshi Tatsu, WWE really seem to have no plans for him at all, just a token Oriental guy who they jobbed out in about 10 seconds. JTG and Justin Gabriel, then being fed to Barrett held obvious outcomes, Barrett never looked like losing. It was nice how they mentioned his history with Gabriel though, rather than just forgetting about it as they probably would on Raw or PPV. After all this, Kofi jumps in the ring and gets the win over a tired and weary Barrett.

All in all the show was enjoyable and probably the best hour of TV that the WWE put out every week. I'm looking forward to seeing what they've got for me next week.

Called Cesaro hitting the Neutralizer on Khali. Totally worth an 8 minute match...kind of. Cesaro is the man.

Kofi is terrible. Wade's promo was good. I enjoyed him putting Kofi in his place.

Sheamus vs Dolph next week with TIME should be quality. All of their matches usually are.

Say whaaat? I didn't realise it's them next week. Sure it'll most likely be a decent match but after having a lot of strawberry ice cream over the last year, I'd like something different.

First episode of main event i've watched, thought it was pretty decent. Did a good job of making there mid card champions look strong.
