Different build up, the story there was to determine which finisher was stronger. Leading up to this Big Show (iirc) blocked Shamoose's kick rather casually and always connected with his punch. The whole contest was set up to make Big Show THE threat and Sheamus THE underdog.
In this case however we have Mark Henry, worlds strongest man as gimmick, challenged by the monster babyface. There is no underdog situation, and WWE doesn't want one. So it is a test of strength between to "unstoppable forces" (fuck you Cole for implanting that shit in my head
) and the whole story is "will the monster babyface dethrone the monster heel". So the slight underdog card has got to go to the established heel monster, because on Ryback this would not work since he was far better booked than Henry recently and hasn't got the Cena magic to trick people into "believing" him as underdog
