He's a pretty good worker as a heel, where his size and style can be used to help people get behind his opponents and put them over. As a face, Show is terrible in the ring.

Do I find his plodding style boring? Yes. Does it work for his character, and do his matches 'make sense'? For the most part, yes they do. He's a reliable hand working the WWE style, seems a loyal company guy, and doesn't mind putting over young talent. He's alright in my books.
This, all this, times 1000. He'll never be the most exciting guy in the ring, but that's because he shouldn't be. In terms of match psychology, he's probably the best WWE has left and it will be a huge loss for them when he finally retires.

I really enjoyed the Last Man Standing match on Smackdown with Alberto Del Rio... it's a perfect example of all the things Big Show does extremely well, in my opinion.

He's a great worker, but I feel like he'd get a lot more acclaim if his booking was more interesting/less squashy. I know he's a monster, I don't need to see him squash the tag team champions in a handicap match.

Show is hands down THE most underrated among the IWC. Sure, he can't sell like Ziggler or Sandow, sure, he's not a great technical performer like Punk or Bryan. But the guy's 40+ years old and 500 pounds. Anyone else would hardly be able to walk at this point, let alone compete in solid if slow-paced matches every night. He's one of the best giants the WWE has ever had. He tells a great story with the mid-match talking, facial expressions & absolute dominance of his opponents, plus he knows how to put his opponents over and has done so willingly for most of his career.

Despite his limitations, the guy is flat out amazing, and I mark for him not because his matches are exciting, but because he does his job so well. And on that sad day when he finally hangs up the boots, I think most fans, both marks and smarks, will miss him, even if they bash him now.

I've always thought Big Show was a great worker. I think people expect too much out of a seven foot, 450 pound giant.

He's truly one of the greats, a bonafide first ballot hall of famer. Everyone in the business respects him.

Then blame that on the booking, not the man himself. That has nothing to do with his abilities, so your point is irrelevant.

Talented big guy, I remember in WCW he would regularly do drop kicks and a few flying elbows off the top rope. Compare him to Khali and you can see the difference more clear. He's jobbed out too much to just about everyone and really lacks that threatening presence he had in WCW, but he's still a talented dude, I kinda feel bad for him because it seems like he could've been bigger than what he is.
