No. The reason they chanted it was because Rock gave them the opportunity to chant it when he asked them if they want to hear his vision or when he said that he's going to be champion again. Not because they're chanting for Bryan.

As for the thread. Not sure if this is sarcastic. Since The Rock means 2004? I can put at least 30 wrestlers who were better in captivating an audience than Bryan. Bryan is a mid card comedy act who the crowd enjoy chanting against, he does a great version of the pitiful, crazy guy character but that's not working a crowd. He's one of the best currently, that's undoubtedly.

There are definitely a few others who were better but that doesn't mean he isn't great and one of the best in the business right now.

No it's not sarcastic. At least 30? By all means, I'd like to see this list.

After the Rock (best of all time), maybe Kurt Angle and John Cena as a rapper before Vince gave him a never-give-up-marine-primary-colors-what-the-fuck-is-this gimmick. That's 3. Please name 27 more.

Rock, Hogan, Austin, Angle, Foley, JBL, Cena, HBK, HHH, Taker, Jeff Hardy, Edge, Christian, Batista, Booker, Flair, Orton, Big Show, Eddie, Jericho, RVD, Mysterio etc(This is only WWE and only from 2004). I can add more if you would be more specific at what you mean by "working a crowd". Bryan is great now with the material you have on the roster currently. Like I said, he's definitely one of the best today and this is the first time that I personally enjoy his work. But let's not get carried away here.

Bryan is great compared to the current roaster. However, today's roaster is pretty dissipointing mic-wise. In-ring wise we have guys like Zigglar tearing it up, but besides Cena (and Punk I guess, but he's inconsistent on the mic), no one really stands out for being the "total package". I like where Bryan's going though.

I am a big Rock fan, and recently over the last year have become a big DB fan. I must admit i was never a big fan of Daniel Bryan fan at 1st, but as each week goes by he I like him more. He easiest the funniest guy on the rooster. Works the mic better then anyone on the current rooster. He is the only one who gets the most crowd perticipation. They should just have Kane and Bryan on the hole show, as they are the only ones worth watching at the moment, their storyline just cracks me up. YES YES YES NO NO NO YES YES YES lol

Bryan is the best package now

Cena and Punk are also complete packages though Cena is highly in-consistent

well, the answer is no regardless. is he in the same stratosphere as The Rock? no. is he the very best at controlling the crowd after The Rock? nope.

okay.

3) Midcard comedy routine? Are you serious? Well enjoy Sheamus calling people 'Bertie', smacking his chest and yelling 'fella'. Lol that's definitely main event worthy.
uh, yeah, i'm serious, because that's what he is. he's on the midcard, and he's a comedy routine.

i also never said Sheamus was main event worthy. not sure why you brought that up.

lol wut? Not even close. This Bryan obsession is getting out of hand.

Rock is in his own league. But the person who would be good at it trying to get crowd into it would Cena. Either doing his thuganomics, promos, his gestures & cap throw, kissing up to the crowd using city's sports team, matches (+ him doing funny stuff during them),or speaking in their native tongue (like he did previously and turned boos into cheers).

Nothing special about saying Yes/No to the fans. yes he is extremely over but without his catchphrases he would have been a nobody or crowd chanting "18 seconds." I want to see Creative Eliminate the yes/no crap to see how it goes
