IMO, it's time for Del Rio to take a backseat on the WHC picture. Let Sandow return to the main-event picture and win the title off Cena. Cena returns to Raw and we put another young talent on the WHC scene, such as Cody, Ziggler or Cesaro if he turns face.

The fact that Del Rio has had 7 or 8 straight matches in the WHC is incomprehensible. Yes, he's a fantastic worker, albeit boring on the mic and gets no reaction from the crowd. It's time to move on to bigger and better things. Let the young guys get the belt and build superstars off of it.

For now he is the best choice to go on with since he is the biggest heel after Orton. Cesaro is still tag teaming and Sandow has been... well almost buried. I donīt know about Barrett but Del Rio seems to be whatīs best for business.

That's exactly my point. He's not (and shouldn't be) the best choice... he's just been booked as such with his disastrous overpush. Imagine if (IMO) superior talent like Sandow or Cesaro received half (which is still 6 months of headlining Smackdown) of Del Rio's chances. Sandow would be massively over and a success by now, and I'm pretty confident the same could be said for Cesaro.

Since Cena won the belt, many people consider WHC as a main event thingy.

I know this this might sound crazy, but after Del Rio is finished feuding with Cena he should step down and feud with Big E over IC title. It would be good rub for Langston, as we know that WWE started pushing him strongly.

Easy way to upgrade ADR.

Win or lose, have him join the Authority. Have him convince the Authority to get Ricardo back in his corner. Watch it backfire as Ricardo does the unexpected and cuts the pipebomb promo on ALL of them, freshening up his character as well as ADR's. Put them in a feud, and do it right this time.

Fish in a barrel.

I do think this thread is a bit silly, seeing as Del Rio was champ for most of that time. That's like saying it's stupid that CM Punk was in the WWE title scene for 434 days, even though he was the one holding the title, so of course he's going to be in the matches lol.

This what happens when the WWE refuses to build future stars. Its not ADRs fault, yeah his push has been a mess, but it failed time to work something else. But what other heel is even legitimate at this point.

Del Rio ruined the WHC for me. The guy is so damn boring and stale. All of his feuds have been awful. He is just so damn terrible. And he is the reason I lost interest in the WHC and SD.
And it is mind boggling that a prick like him has ever been champion.
