Re: Royal Rumble Pool?

Number 6 - No realistic chance of winning but may get someone like Kane in 2001 who ended up setting the elimination record at that time. Or Rick Martel in 91 who ended up with a respectable showing.

Re: Why Can't Ambrose Ever Win A Match?

Maybe they will put him on a losing streak like they did with MVP! I believe that MVPs career has never really recovered from that.

Re: Why Sgt. Slaughter winning the WWF Title at Royal Rumble 91 was a good thing

I think it was a good thing. What better way to piss off the pro american crowd by having an Anti American guy who's basically a sympathizer for the enemy win the WWF Championship. Then have the Pro...

Re: No more Elimination Chamber

I personally disagree as I prefered MITB when it was on the undercard at Mania. It's an exciting match that would get the crowd going and help build the crowd for the main event.

However I...

Re: No more Elimination Chamber

I think it's a good thing to scrap the EC PPV, I've never been a fan of themed PPVs. Maybe they Bring the EC match back at a Summerslam or a Survivor Series or something and it can be used to settle...

Re: Top 10 Favourite Feuds

In NPO!

Stone Cold vs Vince McMahon 97-01 - (on and off)

WCW vs NWO - 96-99 although it did get boring toward the end.

RVD vs Jerry Lynn - From ECW - Arguably the best feud in terms of the...

Re: Whom you DON'T want to return at the Royal Rumble

Mick Foley - Is getting painful now watching him limp down to the ring.

Kevin Nash - Same reason as above.

Rey Mysterio - Simular reason again.

Seamus - This would be something like the 3rd...

Re: Actually a very exciting and unpredictable Rumble.

I think you can sum up this years Rumble in 4 tiers.

Tier 1: Potential Winners - Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan and maybe Dolph Ziggler.

Tier 2: Big names who will likely eliminate a few guys, make...

Re: Royal Rumble Pool?

Sounds like a bit of fun, I'm in even though knowing my luck I'll end up drawing the cursed number 14!

Re: Kofi Kingston Royal Rumble spot

He hopps back to the ring meaning that technically only one foot touches the floor. The good old 'Shawn Michaels' rule.

Austin or Hogan who was bigger?

I'll start this thread by saying that there have been many popular wrestlers who have been over with the fans such as The Rock, Warrior, Flair, Michaels, Taker etc but there have only been two guys...

Re: Did wrestling corrupt children during the Attitude Era?

Oh FFs not another one of these. Take it from someone who lived through the attitude era; I watched the attitude era, I watched action films, horror films, played bloody video games etc and it never...

Re: Oh wow. We've all been worked. Hogan was a heel all along.

Hogan 1985-1993 was never a heel just because he used a few heel tactics. Stone Cold Steve Austin is often regarded as the greatest baby face of all time (some say even bigger then Hogan) and he used...

Re: "(The Original) ECW ruined the industry!"

Here is one source from the IWC. A typical anti ECW thread really with the same old arguments.

Re: Worst Gimick In history

Can't belive no one has mentioned Doink the Clown, although they have mentioned Dink, I don't know which was worse. In fact what about Doink, Dink, Wink, Pink, Sleazy, Queasy and Cheesy?

"(The Original) ECW ruined the industry!"

It's time for another one of these. This following rant has been influenced by IWC forums I've been reading for the past 10 years.

And I quote; "ECW ruined the industry." or
"ECW is...

Re: WWE Dead?

There appear to have been a lot of forums like this recently; I don't know what everyones obsession is with WWE dying? Ok so the business is in a little dip at the moment in terms of ratings,...
