Re: In your honest opinion, has Bryan surpassed the likes of DDP, Piper, Jake Roberts, Scott hall?

To be fair, a lot of the stars of the WWE in the 1980s were not really made stars by the WWE but were already established experienced and well known stars from the NWA territories that the WWE...

Re: In your opinion, do you believe wrestling industry would be better off if WWE folded?

I really miss WCW. I really wish we could go back to having both WWE and WCW when it was mainly on Saturday evenings and not trying to compete directly with the WWE.

Re: Seth Rollins is once in a lifetime

Rollins impresses me a lot. I think he is the most talented of his generation and has shown flashes of great potential. He has great ring psychology and knows how to tell a story in the ring which...

Re: In your honest opinion, has Bryan surpassed the likes of DDP, Piper, Jake Roberts, Scott hall?

I don't think anyone would question that DB is a better in ring worker than Piper as far as technical skills. DB would be ranked higher than Piper on a list that is wrestling skills specific for...

Re: In your honest opinion, has Bryan surpassed the likes of DDP, Piper, Jake Roberts, Scott hall?

Since professional wrestling is scripted in the end the biggest accomplishment a wrestler can have is if decades later they are regarded as an all time type legend. Sure Piper may not have been the...

Re: In your honest opinion, has Bryan surpassed the likes of DDP, Piper, Jake Roberts, Scott hall?

When did you start watching wrestling? Piper was on the First WM Main event.
Piper is an all time type wrestling legend regardless of promotion and thirty years later is still a recognized icon.

Re: In your honest opinion, has Bryan surpassed the likes of DDP, Piper, Jake Roberts, Scott hall?

Two points need to be made:

1. DDP, Piper, Roberts and even Hall wrestled in eras where wrestling had a whole lot more mainstream appeal and popular than it is today. (The WWE Golden Era and...

Re: Reigns can't beat Lesnar, but Bryan can. #BryanFansLogic.

The reality is until DB were to actually compete in a "real" athletic contest against a real opponent then we really do not know how good he would be in a "real" contest. An argument could be made...

Re: Reigns can't beat Lesnar, but Bryan can. #BryanFansLogic.

Has he ever competed in a "real" non scripted actual sanctioned combative contest against a real opponent? I don't care how much someone trains. Knowing a hundred choreographed moves does not...

Re: Reigns can't beat Lesnar, but Bryan can. #BryanFansLogic.

When has Bryan competed in a "real" athletic contest that is not scripted and non choreographed? A real athletic combative contest requires many more variables then knowing a hundred moves that...

Re: Reigns can't beat Lesnar, but Bryan can. #BryanFansLogic.

Can somebody tell me when Bryan has actually competed in a "real" non scripted actual combative athletic contest. (And I am not talking about these pretend MMA wrestling type choreographed matches.)

Re: WWE Officials Implement New Rule About Dating Within The Company

With all due respect you are totally wrong here. In the United States companies are allowed to have reasonable policies that can dictate workplace relations. For one I know I am not wrong because I...

Re: WWE Officials Implement New Rule About Dating Within The Company

Actually, this is legal and controllable at least in the United States and not a human rights violation. This is a common practice actually. In fact, a companies official stance on this type of...

Re: Legitimate street fight, Haku vs Brock Lesnar. Who would win?

I don't understand the logic to your premise. It seems as if you are implying that people only became tough after the advent of mixed martial arts formal competition. A person does not have to...

Re: Legitimate street fight, Haku vs Brock Lesnar. Who would win?

Haku was a pretty strong guy. Some people may not show it but are naturally powerful or strong. One thing that should be noted is that in kayfabe that wrestlers were more restricted in doing power...

Re: Legitimate street fight, Haku vs Brock Lesnar. Who would win?

Here is the elephant in the room. MMA has only existed at a competitive level twenty years at best. I imagine there were numerous pro wrestlers from the past who would have been successful in UFC. ...

Re: Legitimate street fight, Haku vs Brock Lesnar. Who would win?

The UFC still has rules. A street fight is a whole different ballgame. Even Mike Tyson in his prime in the 1980s would not have won every hypothetical street fight.

Re: Legitimate street fight, Haku vs Brock Lesnar. Who would win?

Haku in his prime was 270+ pounds. I think it should be noted that 20-30 years ago that guys the size of Lesnar were a dime a dozen in pro wrestling. Granted Lesnar is very legit gifted...

Re: What on earth is wrong with the modern day fan?

I would have to respectfully disagree with your 80s and 90s comparison. People such as myself were emotionally invested in seeing the Von Erics vs the Free Birds and Dusty vs Flair. PPVs today with...

Re: To what definitive height would defeating Brock propel Reigns'/Bryan's career?

The elephant in the room is that Brock beat an almost 50 year old Hogan. Until Brock beats a 1980s in his prime Hogan I don't think it is logical to credit his victory over Hogan as such a big...
