Arrow WWE stock

Hi all,

I've been considering buying a few shares of WWE stock and I wanted to get some of your opinions on the company's current state. I'm a long time fan and have been following since the...

Re: Why Sgt. Slaughter winning the WWF Title at Royal Rumble 91 was a good thing

Let's be honest, Hogan/Slaughter sucked. That angle did lead to Warrior/Savage which is one of my favorites ever, but I don't think heel Slaughter worked. Not long after Mania 7, he basically was...

Re: Dean Ambrose reveals The Shield used to 'gang up on people' to get their way back

Kliq 2.0? I kind of like it, this is how you get ahead in this company. You're rewarded for shit like that.

Re: WWE Production Values Collapse in mid 90s

I think that "people being offended" garbage was just an excuse the WWF threw out there because the ticket sales were embarrassing.

On another note, Sgt. Slaughter sucked if you go can rewatch...

Re: Official Match/DVD/Show Discussion Thread - Tradition Continues & Bobby Eaton

As you can tell from my banner, I only like the big draws. Bryan just can't cut the mustard. :dance2

Re: WWE Production Values Collapse in mid 90s

They couldn't draw, thus the smaller arenas. Less money coming in is what probably led to Vince cutting costs in production.

I think this was a gradual decline in revenue starting at the...

Re: WWE Network sucks

Is 10 bucks a month really all that tough to come up with? If it is, I'm sorry. The old content is enough for me to justify it.

Re: All Time Favourite Feud, And Why?

That Macho Man/Jake "The" Snake suggestion is pretty good. Psychology off the charts, but it was such a short feud. Jake's heel run in '91-'92 was too short in general, since he left the company. ...

Re: WWF Ring Dimensions

Did they ever change the dimensions? In contrast, what size did WCW use? I think the smaller ring was an advantage for the smaller wrestlers (i.e. the Crusierweights).

Re: What do you think was the Rock best match?

Probably the heel turn. Just gives you a bad feeling.

My personal favorite is Rock/Austin at Backlash '99, as I attended. The spot where the Rock had the camera on the announce table is so...

Re: In this topic it is still 2001

Looking forward to the big WCW Sin ppv. I have a feeling Sid's gonna put on a classic.

Re: "rare" wrestlers you have seen wrestle live?

I saw Ricky Steamboat at the '09 Backlash, pretty cool and he put on a great match.

Re: Classic Wrestling General Discussion & Review Thread

I know he had the book in '96-'97, writing all the initial nWo stuff. I'm not sure at what point they got rid of him, but I think that was a mistake by WCW. He was the best booker they ever had.

Re: What are the hottest crowds you can remember?

Of course, who could forget.

Two that stand out to me are the main events for Canadian Stampede '97 and Backlash '00.

Re: Best/Worst year in WWE history

1995 is embarrassing. The worst Mania of all time, Diesel having shitty main event after shitty main event. Bret doing nothing important. King Mabel. They tried pushing Savio Vega too.

Re: Wrestlemania stadium seat ticket advice

I was at Mania 26 in Arizona, probably similar to section 310 on that chart. It sucked because:

1. We couldn't see the entrance way.
2. We were a mile from the ring. You need binoculars. I...

Re: Unconventional Favorites

I marked out for Flash Funk. Saw him again in a dark match against Paul Burchall randomly a few years ago.

Re: Why doesn't the WWE put house shows on the Network?

It wouldn't be worth the expenses of getting all the equipment and personnel to those shows.
