Re: The problem is the roster, not the writers.

The Attitude Era was different in that Russo and the writers back then gave many people something to do. They got most of the roster involved. As a result, people were invested in the New Age...

Re: When it was real...

When younger, I remember my younger brother bawling his eyes out when we were watching World Class. It was when Michael Hayes dressed up as Santa Claus (after being banned from Reunion Arena) and...

Re: 20 biggest stars 1984

At that time, yes. They revolutionized tag team wrestling with the way they looked and how they performed in the ring alone. The huge following they had made them one of the original face heel...

Re: 20 biggest stars 1984

Good list, although I'd replace Race with Kevin Von Erich. After Starrcade '83, Race was no longer at the top like he once was.

Re: Top 20 worst signings in WWE history

Barry Windham's first stint back in the mid-80s with Mike Rotundo as the US Express wasn't too bad. They were a good team and got two runs with the tag titles.

Now, selections like Sting and...

Re: Can Cena's promo on Rollins last night be classified as a "burial" by definition?

I voted no. I don't think it was a burial at all.

Yes, I know that Cena sneezing at the wrong spot seems to be considered a burial these days. However, I put the whole thing into perspective. ...

Re: Wrestling 1980 - 1984

Georgia Championship Wrestling was big at this time, so was Mid-South and Championship Wrestling from Florida. Mid-South used to have the quarterly supercards from the Superdome in New Orleans.

Re: "Rowdy" Roddy Piper Dead At 61

I was stunned when I heard the news. Piper was a great package when it came to wrestling, he could go in the ring and his promos were pure gold. Even when he was a heel and just thoroughly bashed...

Agreed here. All the storylines that built into this match with Cena fighting for the honor of the WWE, Punk threatening to walk away with the title...Vince booked it perfectly.

I know the...
