Something Flying Under The Radar: Bray Wyatt Looked STRONG in The Rumble

With Reigns and Bryan being at the center of controversy, many people have overlooked the :fact that Bray was the MVP of the Rumble. That one showing topped and almost counteracted months of boring and terribly booked feuds with Ambrose and Jericho. He hasn't looked this dominant since this time last year. That "I ONLY NEED HALF A MINUTE" line even popped me. The company seems to be firmly behind him. Do you think he will be the first to recover from a Cena burial, or will he just be fed to Taker and fade back into obscurity?

You could say that for literally everyone. All of the faces were unceremoniously dumped out of the ring and there were no good spots outside of the WAZZUP headbutt, 3D, and Diamond Cutters. Surprise surprise, 40 and 50 year old veterans stealing the show again. Even Kofi's spot sucked. Saved by the Exotic Express, really? We waited a year for THAT :kobe?

Yeah so strong.. That's why the booked him to eliminate geeks, they booked him to eliminate Bryan without making that a big deal for him and that's why they eliminated him like a fucking geek..

Bray was booked very strong in the Rumble. How many people did he eliminate? 5? 6? Funny thing is, Bray was booked better in that match than the actual winner of the Rumble Roman Reigns lol.

I didn't see him looking like a geek at all regardless of how he was tossed out. All of them were tossed out and booked terribly, at least Bray looked strong. An example of someone looking like a geek would be Bryan and his terrible elimination. Bray got knocked out by Big Show's "oh so powerful" punch and was ganged up on by him and the "Demon Kane". That night, Big Show and Kane were supposed to be credible so Bray got thrown out by credible guys and was in the match for a good amount of time.

He is building up once again, hopefully down the track some time this year he gets a title shot, deservedly so. I agree with that though, he flew under the radar, very strong showing in the Rumble. Hope he gets a decent feud soon.

It wasn't how many people he tossed that matters, it was his presence in the ring and his dominance. He made the ring his domain, and though it only lasted a short time, that ring was HIS yard.

The guy that looked strongest in the Rumble was probably Bubba Ray Dudley and I'm not even kidding.

Daniel Bryan? Nuff said. They didn't even make a big deal about it.

Bray Wyatt? He initially did until Show and Kane eliminated him like a sack of potatoes. The worst part about that? He got KO punched by Show during Ziggler's elimination replay and the commentators didn't even mention it.

Dolph Ziggler? Number 30 and couldn't even last to the final four? Elimination speaks for itself.

Dean Ambrose? Horrible elimination like a jobber just like Ziggler and Wyatt.

Rusev? He's undefeated, ran through Swagger, Henry, Big Show, and Sheamus just months earlier and he gets the 2011 Santino Marella treatment. "Oh, he's never been eliminated! Oh, there he goes"... What a way to treat your #2 heel.

Roman Reigns? He only eliminated Show and Kane because they started arguing against each other instead of out-wrestling or out-smarting them, which would be infinitely better. Now we have to buy this guy as a legit threat to Lesnar? Someone that ran right through Show and Kane in 1 minute in the last Raw before the Rumble?

Good job, WWE. The only guys that looked like stars after the Rumble PPV are Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar. Everyone else looked like shit.

People aren't forgetting how good he was till he was made to look like a bag of trash being thrown away. how you have Bray look so good and then have him eliminate a guy like Bryan with no big sequence then have him dumped over like he was did a lot of damage as well.

Could possibly be for the rumorwd 'Taker and Wyatt match. Although, gotta admit, they could have made his eliminations and his elimiantion on Bryan more of a big deal. But, the way he was eliminated really ruined it all. Hopefully, things will start to look up for Bray, he deserves it.

Bray looked strong at the Rumble and I hoped he would've continued the dominance as the Rumble went on. He should've been one of the Final Four if the WWE really wanted to set him up as an opponent for Taker. But these next two months will be for nothing. He's only being built up to be knocked down by Undertaker. I just don't see Taker losing again and there's not much of a rub Wyatt can get at this point. Lesnar ended the streak. Bray would just be feeding on his leftovers.

I think the true test for Bray will be after Wrestlemania. Maybe then we'll see if the WWE is interested in him as a long term character.

If the company were behind him, he would've won. Instead, he just lasted a while, got saddled with the burden of eliminating Bryan, which could be a career killer and something they would've never given to somebody they had high hopes for, couldn't even get most eliminations, had to settle for a 3 way tie, and then got tossed out like a geek.

It's gonna take him winning the world title to get anyone to believe they really see anything in him, but that'll never happen because he's fat, he can talk and he has a weird character.

There's no way in hell he beats Undertaker, either, and that's IF Undertaker even agrees to the match. I don't think he will. Instead, he's probably going to work Bryan and lose to him. This isn't going anywhere, don't give me this "they're behind him shit". They don't know how to get behind anyone that doesn't fit Vince's exact mold, and Wyatt is the inverse of everything Vince thinks a wrestler should be. Organically over, can talk, tons of charisma, great gimmick, fat. It's a miracle he's not English, I don't know how he avoided that one with all the other things he has working against him.

Bray was the Iron Man. Everyone not named Roman Reigns was tossed like a geek. We've already established this.

Well, that's your unrealistic standard of success. Bray can be strongly booked in the upper mid card like Sheamus and be built back up.

Well, I'm pretty sure he won't beat Taker either, but the question is can he recover from that loss and will the company continue to book him dominantly instead of like a rambling fool who can't back his words and wins by flukes? And "organically over"? A 9 month undefeated streak is organic :drake1? Don't be silly now. Bray did a lot for himself, but he's also had company backing up until the Cena feud where they just bent him over and left him on the side of the road like a cheap hooker.

Thank god for being the Iron Man. I'm sure Wyatt will enjoy the spoils when he's in the fifth or sixth most important match at Wrestlemania. Or will it be the pre-show? Punk was the Iron Man last year, he got taken out by Kane like a bitch. The only Iron Men in Rumble history who mattered were guys like Flair, Benoit, HBK, Austin...and they fucking won!!
