Rollins had the splash and the flying elbow that Macho man would be proud of. Rollins was excellent, the match was excellent. Cena busted out a power bomb and a new move. Brock was brutal. It was awesome!!!!!!
You guys are marking, but let's be honest he didn't even hit it. His elbow drop through the table where he hit Lesnar with pinpoint precision was much more impressive.
He at least got part of it. I'm going to mark for 'essentially' landing it because it took balls even to throw it given the record of throwing shooting star style moves in big matches(Austin and Lesnar come to mind).
Seth Rollins tonight really proved that he can hang with the big dawgs. His phoenix splash was amazing like always. I actually had flash backs of him doing that in his early career. Seth Rollins was the real MVP in this whole Pay Per View.
As soon as he looked at Cena and turned to Brock, I thought 'He's doing it...' I don't care that it wasn't perfect, the height he gets on that thing is unbelievable. It's officially his big match move now, no question.
Between that, and the camera going back to him trying to get up after the match and the fans cheering him as he was selling after the match...the face turn seeds have been planted. They were trying to get him sympathy after the match with that little scene, and it worked.
I don't blame him for not landing it all. When's the last time he's used it in 2011? Plus he's put on some mass in the last couple of years. Anyway I saw tonight as a star making performance for the guy.
Cena was just like he's always been. fucking horribly boring and hard to watch cheesy.
