[b]EDIT: And it will be mega-face vs mega-face ala Hogan/Warrior IMO.
Did you...

Did you just compare Punk/Bryan to HOGAN/WARRIOR??

it'll be telling once Cena comes back exactly how they book him..if he takes Bryan's place and saves the day, then there you go, a fuck you to the fans once again. But we'll see I guess. This is their perfect opportunity to start a new revolution in the WWE. they seem to not want to let go yet.

Hogan vs Warrior is like Jordan vs Magic Johnson in their primes one on one.
Punk and Bryan would be like two very good college basketball players going one on one.

Big difference in the magnitudes and epicness.

Awesome!

Another PPV match for Punk to lose...

How is he still a credible threat after so many losses?...

Another loss will pretty much end Punks run as a threat to anyone.

I wasn't talking popularity goofball, I meant how the story line would play out. WTF dude? You actually think I believe Punk is as big a draw as Hogan or Warrior? Bryan of course will get there next week.

@Starbuck

I could see this potentially main eventing. I mean like really main eventing. 10 years before we had Eddy and Benoit hugging and closing to one of the greatest moments in Pro Wrestling ever. Punk and Bryan closing WMXXX as the 2 underdogs who'd never thought they'd made it so far seems to be the right way. Punk's contract expires sometime next year so he could leave saying he reached his goal and it's time to move on. Even if it would make me terribly sad.
Some underdog is that 5 time World/WWE Champion who had the longest title reign in 25 years.

I think Punk and even Bryan have come too far for them to play the underdog card at this point. Benoit and Eddie were just having their lone title reigns at the time of WM20 and were genuine underdogs because not only were they booked as such, but they went through a lot of shit involving politics and other stuff for several years.

Please name all these losses this year. 1 to Rock, 1 to Taker, and 1 to Heyman via Ryback interference. (I guess you could throw in MITB as well but since Punk didn't eat a pin I won't.) Man what a loss magnet. This time last year all the way up to Mania 29 Bryan was on his back staring at the lights for the Shield and yet he not only survived but thrived. Relax dude.

how long do you think they'll let Bryan hold the title when he wins it back? IF he does, you never know with the WWE.

Even Rock/HHH... if they somehow managed to get that, I couldn't imagine that closing the show. While the angle would certainly be a big deal, that alone just doesn't warrant it closing out Mania over the title match unless that is something like Punk/Orton or Bryan/Orton or Punk or Bryan against some lower card guy. Never mind if Taker/Brock happens, that'd be the biggest match on the card anyway, so the only chance I see of the McMahon angle main eventing is... like I said, if it's Bryan vs. HHH is for the belt. Of course even then, if Rock/Brock, Taker/Cena, or Taker/Brock happens, the match is second to that anyway despite being the main event of the show, which goes back to the reason I think Punk/Bryan for the title would close the show if it happened for the belt(except in the case of Taker/Cena, as like I've said, I don't think anything would main event over that).
The simple fact that it's the McMahon's at Wrestlemania 30 warrants it closing the show in their eyes at the very least. Don't be delusional. A lot of folks here may not think it's a big deal but if WWE actually do book Cena/HHH for control of the company you had better believe they are going to hype that shit to holy heaven.

So Taker/Brock is a bigger match than HHH/Cena with control of the WWE on the line and a laundry list of McMahon family shenanigans purely because Brock and Taker are involved but you argued tooth and nail that HHH/Brock with HHH's career on the line wasn't a bigger match than Taker/Punk? Dat delusion.

Ah the ultimate Bryan mark, we meet again

You so badly want Bryan to go over Punk don't you? The fact is he could go over the Rock and he still wouldn't draw. Guys like Punk and Bryan just don't draw this could have been the perfect time to build the shield instead they build a 5 foot 8 leprechaun who pulls off great matches and cuts 5 star promos

Unlike you I can admit this, Punk and Bryan cannot ever be the guy.
