I want to see a Rob Van Dam vs. Big E Langston feud. RVD could bump all day for Langston, much like how Dolph will, to really establish Big E as a powerful heel. Plus, a loss to Big E if he has a good back-and-forth match or two with Dolph won't hurt Van Dam, because it seems a lot of people rate Big E fairly high.

Maybe after a loss to Dolph at Summerslam in a 10/15 minute back-and-forth bout with some great selling from Dolph, Big E can come out and take out his frustrations on RVD on Raw to make a statement after being in the shadow of Dolph all year. Then in a return match on the next Smackdown between Big E and Dolph, RVD could run down and cost Langston or something.

It's something I'd really like to see. I think Langston working against Kane in all those tag matches improved him massively as a big man, and perhaps working with an experienced albeit a bit stiff and wreckless RVD will pass on some good knowledge for him to apply in matches with other smaller, nimble guys.

I'll give you that. I guess I just want him to have some direction/storyline.

Would be awesome, but why bring him back if he's not going to feud for a belt?

Out of the options there, I like the idea of RVD having a mid-card title feud most. Both champs need a high-profile challenger badly, but I give the edge to Ambrose over Axel with regards to which mid-card champion should benefit from a rub from RVD. Axel will be guaranteed not to keep a low profile as long as Heyman is by his side. Ambrose, on the other hand, feels like he has been demoted since becoming champion; he's gone from beating some of the biggest names on the roster to losing to Usos/Christian. A feud with RVD would provide for some exciting matches and boost the credibility of the US champ and title, provided he retains.

I actually think the idea of RVD in the tag division is not bad at all. He could be paired with a younger guy, perhaps even an NXT prospect, to create a nice combination of youth and experience. This way, the younger guy can do a lot of the legwork and van Dam can come in for the hot tag and the highspots. It would add to a very shallow tag team division; the only problem is, it would further reduce the chances of guys like the PTP finally getting a legitimate shot at the belts.

A heel turn would be too soon now (barely two weeks into his latest WWE tenure), and I believe would be too soon in three months, but frustration with not achieving at a similar level as at his peak could be a good turning point for his character. A heel RVD could be fresh; it feels like a long time since we've seen him as a bad guy. The only issue would be that, when introduced as a heel before, he still got face pops, and the chances are that that would happen again, unless he changed his in-ring style - and if he did that, his appeal would be gone overnight.

Turn heel/get serious stating that he hasn't got the competiton he deserves. He's been here for three months and has not accomplished nothing since he's return
What? Give the man the WHC. That would make the most sense. Fans love this guy still. Do what's right, and give him the title.
